Shabbos Kodesh, Parshas Lech Lecha, 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

On Friday night at around 6:30 the Rebbe entered the beis medrash wrapped in his tallis and approached the amud for Mincha. Kabbolas Shabbos: R' Dovid Eckstein. They finished at around 8:05. The congregation went over to wish a good Shabbos, and the Rebbe went into his private room.

After a few minutes the Rebbe walked up to the Mesivta building, the Yoel Moshe branch, where the Rebbe honored the Shulchan HaTahor together with the talmidim of the Mesivta from all the branches.
Upon arrival, the Rebbe went into his private room.

At around 8:50 the Rebbe entered for the Shulchan HaTahor and began, as is his custom, with Shalom Aleichem with emotion and sweetness.
- Eishes Chayil: the grandson of the Rebbe, the bochur Yissachar Ber Teitelbaum, son of the Rav of the beis medrash Beirach Moshe shlit"a.
- Raising the cup: R' Yisroel Chaim Stessel.

The Rebbe shlit"a honored people with the zemiros.
- Kol Mekadesh: HaGaon R' Yosef Leib Kahn shlit"a.
- Menucha V'simcha: HaGaon R' Mordechai Aharon Zeibel shlit"a.

The Rebbe shlit"a said Torah on the verse 'Lech Lecha mei'artzecha' and explained, in the manner of drush, the sugya of whether tefillah is a Torah obligation.

On Shabbos morning the Rebbe entered at around 9:45.

The Rebbe recited Zechoros verse by verse, and then approached the amud for Shacharis.

- Hotzaah and Hachnasah: R' Zusha Neustadt.
- Pesukei Shema Yisroel: R' Yonah Bernath.
- Carrying the Sefer Torah to the bimah: R' Moshe Aharon Steinberg.

Aliyos.
- Kohen: the mishabbak R' Shmuel HaKohen Friedman.
- Levi: the chassan Yaakov Hersh, son of Moshe Yosef Friedman.

At Kiddush in his holy home, joyous songs were sung and the congregation went over to wish mazel tov on the simcha of the Kiddusha Rabba for the newborn daughter of the Rebbe's grandson Rabbi Yoel Teitelbaum shlit"a, son of the Av Beis Din of Williamsburg shlit"a, which took place in our great beis medrash in Boro Park. She was named in Yisroel: Chaya Faigel, after the grandmothers, the Rebbetzin, the righteous wife of the Beirach Moshe zy"a, and his daughter the Rebbetzin, wife of the Av Beis Din of Boro Park shlit"a.

Ra'avah D'ra'avin

The Rebbe entered for Mincha at around 6:25.
- Baal Tefillah: Rabbi Nata Moskovitz shlit"a (Williamsburg).
- Hotzaah and Hachnasah: R' Dovid Chaim Gross (Williamsburg).
- Kohen: R' Lipa Friedman (Williamsburg).
- Levi: R' Avrohom Shapiro (Shikun Skver).
- Shlishi: R' Yaakov Mittelman.
- Hagbah: the Rebbe shlit"a.
- Gelilah: R' Meir Yitzchak Weiss.

At Shalosh Seudos the Rebbe honored people with the zemiros.

The Rebbe shlit"a said Torah on the verse 'Lech Lecha mei'artzecha' and explained that through the mitzvah of Krias Shema great blessings and abundant parnassah descend, and one is saved from the test of wealth. He urged being careful with the mitzvah of Krias Shema, which requires neither physical exertion nor monetary expense, only a little kavanah, and in that merit one will merit abundant parnassah.

The Rebbe recited the blessing over the cup and said Sheva Berachos.

Maariv of Motzei Shabbos: R' Moshe Goldstein. After Havdalah the congregation went over to wish a good week. Afterwards the Rebbe recited Kiddush Levana in front of the great beis medrash. They finished at around 8:45.

In his holy home there was a visit from the tzaddik R' Baruch Hager shlit"a, son of the Sassov-Vizhnitz Rebbe shlit"a and son-in-law of the Vizhnitz Rebbe shlit"a. A pleasant conversation took place, and the Rebbe bestowed his holy blessing upon him.

At around 10:50 the Rebbe comforted the mourners R' Binyon and his brother Rabbi Chaim Klein shlit"a, who were sitting shiva for their father R' Noach Klein a"h.

Afterwards the Rebbe went to the new expanded offices of Ahcieve, where the Rebbe affixed a mezuzah. Then the Rebbe went in to a lechayim gathering, where HaGaon R' Yosef Moshe Stauber shlit"a, a moreh tzedek in our holy kehilla, spoke and presented the activities of the organization on behalf of Jews suffering with emotional difficulties, rachmana litzlan.
The Rebbe drank lechayim and bestowed his holy blessing, and delivered words of his holy mouth about the importance of these activities to help Jews emerge from their private exile, and the obligation to conduct oneself according to the da'as Torah in every activity, and concluded with his holy blessing.

From there, at around 11:40, the Rebbe went to the affixing of a mezuzah at the new building of the 'Yedidim' organization, together with a Sheva Berachos simcha for the chassan, son of R' Aryeh Hershkowitz, one of the heads of the organization.
The Rebbe affixed a mezuzah, and then a lechayim gathering took place, at which R' Aharon Yosef Landau spoke.
The Rebbe drank lechayim and bestowed his holy blessing, and delivered words of his holy mouth about the importance of doing chesed for fellow Jews, especially for the ill, which brings the coming of Moshiach closer, and concluded with his holy blessing.
Afterwards the Rebbe distributed shirayim to the entire gathering, then toured all the floors of the building, greatly praised the many activities of the organization, and left his holy blessing for the administration and all the staff.
