Monday, Erev Sukkos, "B'tzeil HaKodesh" with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

In the morning a bris was held for the newborn son of R' Lipa Pollack, where the Rebbe served as sandek.

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in the Beis Medrash HaGadol. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochur, the bochur Mordechai Menachem Green.
Afterwards the Rebbe lit candles in honor of the yahrzeit of the holy Kozhnitzer Maggid zy"a. During the Torah reading, the Rebbe went up for Hagbah.

After davening, the aravos for the four species were brought to the Rebbe's private room, where the Rebbe examined them for an extended time and selected aravos in honor of Yom Tov.
Afterwards a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochur in the Rebbe's private room.
