Friday, Erev Shabbos Parshas Ki Savo — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a
This morning before davening, a bris took place for the newborn son of R' Hershel Steinberg, where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.
The Rebbe davened Shacharis in the Beis Medrash HaGadol. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochur, the bochur Yosef Yisroel Siegelbaum.
After davening the Rebbe blew the shofar and recited fifteen chapters of Tehillim, as is customary during the month of Elul.
After Shacharis the brissen took place: - for the newborn son of R' Yoel Wertheimer, where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel. - for the newborn son of R' Yitzchak Meir Farkash (Monsey), where the Rebbe served as sandek. Afterward a lechayim took place in the Rebbe's private room with the bar mitzvah bochur and the baalei bris.
A meeting was also held in the Rebbe's private room with the directors of the mesivta, where various details regarding the coming school year, IY"H, were discussed, and the Rebbe decided that, IY"H, they will learn Maseches Bava Basra.

נאך שחרית איז פארגעקומען די ברית'ן: - לבן הנולד אצל ר' יואל בר"מ ווערטהיימער הי"ו ווי דער רבי איז געווען סנדק ומוהל. - לבן הנולד אצל ר' יצחק מאיר בר"ח פארקאש הי"ו (מאנסי), ווי דער רבי איז געווען סנדק. דערנאך איז פארגעקומען א לחיים מיט די בר מצוה בחור און די בעלי ברית'ן בחדרו הפרטי.
אויך איז פארגעקומען אן אסיפה בחדרו הפרטי מיט די מנהלי המתיבתא ווי מען האט אויסגעשמועסט פארשידענע פרטים בנוגע די קומענדיגע שנת הלימודים הבעל"ט, און דערביי האט דער רבי קובע געווען אז מען וועט אי"ה לערנען מסכת בבא בתרא.
