At the moving event following the completion of the writing of the Sefer Torah, the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a invited all of his chassidim to the historic celebration of the Hachnasas Sefer Torah:

"...I wish to honor and invite all of our chassidim, friends and students to the simcha of the 'Hachnasas Sefer Torah,' which will take place IY"H on Sunday, Parshas Ki Sisa, Shushan Purim of the walled cities, the third day of Purim. This in itself — according to many commentators, bringing in the Sefer Torah is called 'completing the Torah' — so that we may fulfill 'give honor to the Torah' with great joy, as is fitting for the holy Torah and for Hashem, the Giver of the Torah..." He then mentioned the Chasam Sofer, that bringing it in "publicly, before a great multitude" instills fear of Heaven in the children.

"With our youth and with our elders we will go, for it is a festival of Hashem for us."
