Thursday, Parshas Shoftim — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

In the morning before davening, a bris took place for the newborn son of R' Yuda Leib Singer, in the home of his grandfather, HaRav HaChassid R' Moshe Nosson Fischer, with the Rebbe serving as sandek.

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in Yeshiva Gedolah, the Beirach Moshe branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim:
- The bochur Yuda Kahn.
- The bochur Yushe Yakobs.
During the Torah reading, the Rebbe went up for Hagbah.

After davening, the Rebbe blew the shofar and recited the ten chapters of Tehillim as is customary.
After davening, the Rebbe delivered the daily Tehillim shiur on chapter 27, verse 3. Afterwards a lechayim took place with the bar mitzvah bochurim in his private room.

Reception hours were from 6:30 until 12:15 at night in his holy home on Ohel Court.

Around 7:15, the Rebbe officiated at the kiddushin at the chuppah of the mechutanim:
- HaRav HaChassid R' Yaakov Mordechai Levi Teitelbaum and HaRav HaChassid R' Chaim Leib Markowitz, in the Kinor David hall.
- HaRav HaChassid R' Zalman Leib Klein and HaRav HaChassid R' Yoel Yakir Friedman, in the Ginas Klein hall.

After the chuppos, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home.

Around 10:30, the Rebbe went down to the tenaim hall in his holy home, where the Rebbe read the tenaim of the mechutanim:
- HaRav HaChassid R' Yoel Berkowitz and HaRav HaChassid R' Pinchas Lemel Kish.
- HaRav HaChassid R' Yoel Reich and HaRav HaChassid R' Efraim Weiss.

The Rebbe davened Maariv around 12:15.
