Great excitement and ecstasy among Satmar talmidim and chassidim worldwide upon hearing the joyous news that the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a will, b'ezras Hashem, undertake a holy journey to Eretz Yisroel in the coming month of Kislev, IY"H

- An elevated "cornerstone-and-floors pouring ceremony" (yetzikas hakomos) for the beis medrash of the magnificent new Tel Talpiyot building in the royal city of Yerushalayim, the holy city

- A festive "chanukas habayis celebration" for the eye-catching, magnificent new building of the girls' school in Bnei Brak

- The historic highlight of the journey: the long-awaited "Satmar Shabbos in Meron," Shabbos Kodesh Parshas Toldos, IY"H

Feelings of great joy and holy longing have filled the hearts of the community of our people, the talmidim and chassidim of Satmar everywhere, with the good tidings that have arrived. After a lengthy period of being cut off due to the prolonged war and its circumstances in Eretz Yisroel, it was confirmed in recent days that the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a will, IY"H, undertake a historic holy journey to Eretz Yisroel to strengthen and uplift our holy kehillos and mosdos in Eretz Yisroel.

The main purpose of this exalted trip is the historic celebrations and gatherings that the Rebbe shlit"a will hold, "when the heads of the people gathered, the tribes of Yisroel together." These include the elevated ceremony of pouring the floors of the magnificent new Tel Talpiyot building, which is being built and furnished on a grand scale in the royal city of Yerushalayim, the holy city, and which will serve as a center of Torah and tefillah for our holy kehillos and mosdos in the beautiful city, may it be rebuilt.

And a similar one alongside it: the long-awaited chanukas habayis celebration for the splendid and eye-catching completion of the magnificent new girls' school building in the center of Bnei Brak. The construction dragged on for a long period with several interruptions, due to the difficult Covid season and afterward the prolonged war, may Hashem avenge. Therefore the joy is now doubled and redoubled, that finally, Baruch Hashem, we merit to bless the completed project on the new building, built in great splendor and glory.

The crowning highlight of the holy journey, which arouses longing, yearning and holy feelings among the public, is the anticipated "Satmar Shabbos in Meron," which will be held on a Shabbos Kodesh uniting thousands upon thousands of Jews with their king, the Rebbe shlit"a, at their head, on Shabbos Kodesh Parshas Toldos, at the holy site of Meron, near and visible to the distinguished kever of the Tanna, the divine Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai.

Hearing of the Shabbos in Meron awakens bright memories of Shabbos Parshas Pekudei 5776, whose good taste and holy impression of that historic, uplifted and exalted Shabbos remain in everyone's bones and are still a topic of excitement for those who were present. Therefore our people everywhere have been looking forward for a long time, wondering when it will come to our hands and we will fulfill it, when we will once again merit such a Shabbos full of feeling, spiritual arousal and attachment in the shadow of Rashbi. Thus it now calls forth rare joy in everyone who hears that, behold, it is coming: b'ezras Hashem we will again have the opportunity and merit to a "Satmar Shabbos in Meron."

On behalf of the leadership of Kahal Yitav Lev D'Satmar in Eretz Yisroel and abroad, a travel committee has been formed. They have already begun the holy work of organizing the journey and the exalted Shabbos, together with the very experienced askanim of our holy kehillos in Yerushalayim and Bnei Brak. For several weeks they have been working out the plans so that everything will run in the best possible way. In particular, several weeks ago the apartments and lodgings on the mountain in Meron were contracted in order to be able to accommodate the public for Shabbos Kodesh.

In a special announcement on behalf of the travel committee, the community of our people is requested, in the strongest terms, not to approach lodgings in Meron personally to book rooms, so as not to cause prices to rise, so that it will indeed be possible to spend the Shabbos at the holy site.

Further details about the holy journey and the exalted Shabbos will follow, IY"H.

"Cry out and sing for joy, inhabitant of Zion, for great in your midst is the Holy One of Yisroel."
