Wednesday, Parshas Bamidbar, Rosh Chodesh Sivan — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in the Beis Medrash Imrei Noam in the Divrei Yoel neighborhood together with the talmidim of the Yeshiva Ketana, Heichal HaTorah branch of Williamsburg, under the direction of Rabbi Yudel Stolzenberg shlit"a. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim.

- The bochur Yoel Ber"l Neustadt.
- The bochur Yisroel Henich Kraus.
- The bochur Pesach Markowitz.
- The bochur Lipa Friedman.
The Rebbe went up to Hallel, and during the Torah reading, Hagbah took place. After davening, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the Rebbe's private room.

After a few minutes, the Rebbe entered the shulchan hatahor for the Rosh Chodesh seudah in the hall of the beis medrash. The Rebbe washed for the seudah, and during the seudah they sang at length the zemiros and the Rosh Chodesh melodies and the melodies of Yom Tov Shavuos. For Birchu Nafsho, the Rebbe honored HaGaon Rabbi Michel Neiman shlit"a, a rebbi in the yeshiva.
The Rebbe shlit"a delivered a Dvar Torah and explained that the Jews did teshuvah at Matan Torah for the very aveirah itself and for the time when they could have done a mitzvah. This must be kept before our eyes now, before Shavuos, to use every minute for learning Torah and to daven "and enlighten our eyes in Your Torah." The Rebbe continued with words of mussar and guidance regarding kedushah and guarding the eyes, taking care during the summer days, especially since we live in the city of Williamsburg, which is a very unrestrained street, and great Divine mercy is needed to be saved, and to be careful with guarding the eyes. He asked the bochurim that whoever has sense should see to leave the treifa'ne street in the city as early as possible, right after the years of yeshiva ketana, and have one year fewer of tests. "Whoever is first merits," and he concluded with abundant blessings.

Afterwards, the menahel presented the Rebbe with a kvitel from all the talmidim of the yeshiva who distinguished themselves with learning consecutive hours.
For bentching, the Rebbe honored the menahel, Rabbi Yudel Stolzenberg shlit"a. It ended at around 1:30.

At around 7:20 the Rebbe went over to the Beis Medrash HaGadol for the simchas hachnasas sefer Torah, brought in by the family of R' Yoel Dantziger a"h. The Rebbe took the sefer Torah and danced holy dances for a longer time, and afterwards recited Ledavid Mizmor as is customary and wished the family members well.

At around 8:15 the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home on Eihel Court.
Afterwards there were yechidus hours until 12:15 at night in his holy home.

During the yechidus hours, the administration of the Bais HaOfeh of our holy kehilla from Kiryas Joel and Williamsburg entered together with the dayanim hamachshirim, HaGaon R' Hersh Leib Bernstein shlit"a and HaGaon R' Yoel Yitzchak Stern shlit"a, where the details of the wheat fields were discussed, as preparations are being made to cut the wheat in the coming weeks for Pesach 5786. The Rebbe went through all the details at length, gave his holy instruction, and bestowed his holy blessing.
