Shabbos Kodesh, Parshas Acharei Kedoshim — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

Friday night at around 8:30 the Rebbe entered the beis medrash wrapped in his tallis and approached the amud for Mincha. Kabbalas Shabbos: R' Avrohom Shmuel Eckstein (Monsey). The davening concluded at around 10:10. The congregation went over to wish a gut Shabbos, and the Rebbe went into his private room.

At around 10:35 the Rebbe entered the holy tish in the Heichal HaShulchanos together with the talmidei hamesivta, and began, as is his custom, with Shalom Aleichem with feeling and sweetness.

The Rebbe shlit"a said Torah on the verse "After the death of the two sons of Aharon," and explained in the manner of derush the concept of "the Torah spoke in the language of man."

On the day of Shabbos Kodesh

The Rebbe entered for davening at around 9:40. Berachos and Pesukei D'Zimra: R' Elchanan Taub. For Shacharis the Rebbe sent his son, HaGaon Rabbi Teitelbaum, rav of Beis Medrash Beis Baruch shlit"a, to the amud.

A few minutes later the Rebbe entered the Kiddush Rabba simcha in the Heichal of the Beis Medrash HaGadol, north side. The Rebbe made Kiddush and tasted mezonos and fish, niggunei simcha were sung, and the baal simcha spoke words of Torah.
The Rebbe drank lechayim and warmly wished the baal simcha, the grandfathers and the entire congregation well, and delivered a Torah thought on the verse "With this shall Aharon come into the Kodesh," explaining that in order to daven properly one must come with the tears of the ezras nashim, and that the tefillos should be accepted with mercy and favor, and he concluded with abundant berachos. It ended at around 12:40.

The Rebbe entered the beis medrash for Mincha and Shalosh Seudos at around 8:30.

The Rebbe shlit"a spoke on the verse "You shall be holy," and explained that by extending the kedusha of Shabbos through Shalosh Seudos into the weekdays, one receives the strength to sanctify oneself in what is permitted to you throughout the entire week.

Yedid Nefesh: HaRav R' Shlomo Zabel shlit"a, dayan of Beis Medrash Beis Dov. Kel Mistater: R' Chaim Friedman. The Rebbe made a berachah over the cup.

Maariv Motzei Shabbos: R' Shimshon Shraga Feigel. After Havdalah the congregation went over to wish a gutte voch. It ended at around 10:40.

After Havdalah the Rebbe visited the ill R' Yehoshua Mendlowitz, who was ill since Shabbos.

A group of talmidei yeshiva gedola of Bobov in Boro Park, who were spending Shabbos b'tzeil hakodesh, came into his holy home. The Rebbe inquired about their studies and bestowed upon them from his holy blessing.
