Mizmor Shir Chanukas HaBayis
Today, at the mezuzah-affixing ceremony and lechayim celebration for the magnificent new building, "Binyan Leah Esther" in Beis Rachel, Kiryas Joel, headed by the president of the mosdos, the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a,
the Rebbe affixed the mezuzah on the outer gate and then went up to the 5th floor, to the girls' beis medrash, where the lechayim celebration took place, at which R' Shmuel Shlomo Teller, director of Beis Rachel, and R' Meir Hirsch, director of the mosdos in Kiryas Joel, spoke.
Afterwards the Rebbe spoke with holy words (divrei kodesh), and among other things took out a note that someone had handed to the Rebbe, with a total of all the first-grade classes of our holy mosdos around the world, as many as 47 classes, which equals the numerical value of a holy name of our holy Rebbe, the Divrei Yoel zt"l, and the Rebbe brought out that this means that in 10 years there will be that many classes in the yeshiva ketana!
Then the Rebbe said with great emotion that today we are holding the second mezuzah-affixing, one at the yeshiva gedolah for the bochurim and now at Beis Rachel for the older girls.
He thanked the administration, the donors, and the Rebbetzin, the tzadekes, tlit"a, for her leadership.
Afterwards the Rebbe affixed the mezuzah on the door of the beis medrash and looked around the building, a few floors, classrooms, and the outside of the building, accompanied by the members of the administration. In the street the Rebbe stopped to speak with R' Meir Hirsch, director of the mosdos.
