On Erev Shabbos Kodesh before the time, the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a put the shtreimel on the chassan Nachum Schwartz, a member of the Shabbos Kodesh minyan. The Rebbe also participated in the joyous "Kiddusha Rabba" on Shabbos after davening in Mivtzar HaKollelim, where the Rebbe made Kiddush and wished the chassan and the mechutanim well, and joyous melodies were sung.
