- The bochur Chaim Eichler.
- The bochur Yudel Friedman.
After davening, a lechayim took place with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the Rebbe's private room.

In the afternoon at around 6:15, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home.

At around 7:50, the Rebbe arrived at our new beis medrash in the Kedushas Levi neighborhood in Greater Kiryas Joel for the ceremony of affixing the mezuzah and a lechayim celebration on the occasion of the opening of the gates of our new beis medrash before Yom Tov Pesach.
The Rebbe walked around the entire beis medrash and went down to the lowest level to view the construction work at the mikvah, and there heard a report from HaRav Rabbi Berel Margulies shlit"a, chairman of the committee for expanding the city's borders, about the further plans to magnificently complete the entire beis medrash and the mikvah.
Afterwards a lechayim celebration took place in the main hall of the beis medrash. HaRav Rabbi Berel Margulies shlit"a and R' Yaakov Rotenberg spoke on behalf of the residents of the neighborhood. A pleasant conversation took place with the rabbonim present from the neighboring Jefferson neighborhood, HaRav Rabbi Yoel Berish Weiss shlit"a and HaRav Rabbi Yoel Farkash shlit"a, and the leaders of the Kiryas Joel kehilla. R' Dovid Eckstein of Eretz Yisroel also spoke, and highlighted the tremendous expansion of kedusha, that this beis medrash is already the 26th beis medrash of the holy community of Kiryas Joel, may they continue to multiply.
The Rebbe drank lechayim and bestowed blessings on the entire assembly, and conveyed words of Torah on the joy of building a beis medrash that will, IY"H, soon ascend to Yerushalayim. He encouraged the residents of the neighborhood to conduct themselves in every way as residents of Kiryas Joel, as Kiryas Joel expands from time to time to a new area, and he also named the neighborhood 'Kedushas Levi neighborhood.' He concluded with abundant blessings for the donors and askanim, and especially for HaRav Rabbi Berel Margulies shlit"a, who heads the committee for expanding the city's borders, to ensure that all spiritual needs are established in all the neighborhoods of Greater Kiryas Joel.

Joyous melodies were sung in honor of the occasion, and the Rebbe wrote a check for eighteen thousand dollars for the benefit of the beis medrash and handed it to HaRav Rabbi Berel Margulies shlit"a. Then the Rebbe affixed a mezuzah on the main entrance. On the way out, the Rebbe warmly thanked R' Chaim Elazar Horowitz, one of the heads of the beis medrash's administration, for devoting himself day and night to complete the beis medrash for Yom Tov Pesach. It concluded at around 8:30.

Afterwards the Rebbe went over to the hall of the Mesivta, Divrei Yoel branch, where the baking of mitzvah matzos on Erev Pesach by the Rebbe shlit"a will take place. The Rebbe looked over the baking process for an extended time while a group was baking matzos there, and he gave various instructions to be implemented on Erev Pesach.

Entry times for kvitlach were from 9:00 until 11:30 at night, in his holy home on Ohel Court.

At around 10:00 the Rebbe went down to the tenaim hall in his holy home, where a 'Pesach Preparation Gathering' took place for the orphaned bochurim of our holy kehilla. Several melodies were sung, and the Rebbe delivered lengthy words of chizuk and guidance in preparation for Yom Tov Pesach and bestowed abundant blessings on all the bochurim. Afterwards all the bochurim passed by, and the Rebbe gave each one blessed matzos with a Haggadah Lev Aharon and bestowed the blessing of kedusha. He also gave special thanks to the askanim who organized the gathering. It concluded at around 10:20.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 11:30.
