Sunday, Parshas Mishpatim — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in Beis Medrash Avnei Tzedek on the occasion of the simcha of the bris milah of his grandson, born to R' Elchonon Chaim Meisels shlit"a, son of HaGaon Rabbi Hershel Meisels shlit"a, rav of our beis medrash Beis Nachum Dov in Williamsburg, son of the Av Beis Din of Montreal shlit"a, and son-in-law of the Rav of Beis Medrash Avnei Tzedek shlit"a, the Rebbe's mechutan.

Before davening, the Rebbe put on tefillin for the bar mitzvah bochurim.
- The twin sons of R' Zalman Leib Zupnik.
- The bochur Aharon Chaim Lebowitz.
- The bochur Yuda Nesanel Mascher.
- The bochur Menachem Yissachar Dov Katz.
- The bochur Chaim Avrohom Ber Lebowitz.
- The bochur Shmuel Wertzberger.
- The bochur Zev Dov Retek.
- The bochur Shraga Elchonon Wertzberger.
- The bochur Yoel Dovid Schwartz.
- The bochur Yaakov Yochanan Mittelman.

After davening, the simcha of the bris milah took place in the main sanctuary of the beis medrash, and the Rebbe shlit"a was honored with sandkaus. The mohel was the Av Beis Din of Montreal shlit"a. The sandek standing was HaGaon Rabbi Hershel Meisels shlit"a. The brachos and naming were recited by the Rav of Beis Medrash Avnei Tzedek shlit"a, the Rebbe's mechutan, and the child was named in Yisroel "Yitzchak," after the elder grandfather, the Av Beis Din of Elesk zt"l.
After the bris the entire assembly went over to wish the Rebbe shlit"a mazel tov, and a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the main sanctuary of the beis medrash.

After a few minutes the Rebbe entered the seudas bris in the main sanctuary of the beis medrash. At the seudah the father of the baby shlit"a spoke, as did the grandfathers, the Av Beis Din of Montreal shlit"a, the Rebbe's mechutan, the Rav of Beis Medrash Avnei Tzedek shlit"a, and HaGaon R' Hershel Meisels shlit"a.
The Rebbe honored HaGaon R' Shlomo Rubin shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Tzeshnov, Kiryas Joel, with "Yom Libeshah."

The Rebbe shlit"a delivered holy words on the topic of bris milah, and warmly wished the baal simcha, the esteemed grandfathers, and the entire assembly well.
The Rebbe honored his brother-in-law, the Av Beis Din of Montreal shlit"a, with leading Birkas Hamazon, and honored the family members with the Harachaman prayers. The seudah concluded at about 1:50.
Afterwards the Rebbe went to the home of his mechutan, the Rav of Beis Medrash Avnei Tzedek shlit"a, where the Rebbe extended good wishes to the women who had given birth.

In the afternoon hours the Rebbe shlit"a inaugurated his new large library in the newly built wing of his holy home. The Rebbe began organizing the thousands of holy sefarim with a system for how to transfer them, and gave various instructions to the house bochur and to the select bnei Torah bochurim who for several hours had the merit of helping to organize the first phase of the sefarim. Then, before Mincha, the Rebbe thanked the bochurim.

At about 5:45 the Rebbe davened Mincha, already in the newly completed wing of his holy home.

In the evening the Rebbe officiated at kiddushin at the chuppahs of the mechutanim:
- R' Aharon Yosef Spielman and R' Mendel Rosen, in the halls of Beis Rachel Paradise.
- R' Asher Zelig Bleich and R' Yaakov Eliezer Wertzberger, in the halls of Ginas Klein.

After the chuppahs the Rebbe went to the home of R' Yitzchak Wolf Grunwald on the occasion of a siyum haShas. A pleasant conversation ensued, and the Rebbe drank a lechayim and bestowed of his holy blessing.

Entry hours for kvitelach were from 8:20 until 12:45 at night, at his holy home on Ohel Court.

The Rebbe shlit"a read the tenaim of the mechutanim R' Hersh Yosef Levy and R' Avrohom Spielman.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at about 11:30 and then continued receiving the public.
