"And you shall write about the Jews in the name of the King"

Tens of thousands of talmidim and chassidim of Satmar are preparing with great preparation, with holy emotion, and with great joy for the stirring and uplifting event, the completion of the writing of a Sefer Torah, of the holy Sefer that will be presented by our father and shepherd, the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a, as the heads of the people gather together, the leaders of the thousands of Israel, this coming Motzei Shabbos Parshas Terumah-Zachor, in the gigantic, immense "Auditorium" in Kiryas Joel.

The event will be one unified whole of deveikus, longing, spiritual elevation, and holy excitement for the entire holy congregation. It will begin with the preparation at the "awesome event," with stirring and deveikus-filled nigunim. Afterwards there will be a powerful high point when the great source of joy and light of Israel, the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a, will deliver holy words, sparks of light, with the emotion of his pure heart, expressing his personal feelings and the significance of the auspicious time at such a moment, accompanied by special words of chizuk and guidance to uplift the pillar of Torah.

Then will come the climax of the holy event and a stirring sight, when the thousands of the assembled will merit to see the leader of the community, the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a, take the "kesses hasofer" (the scribe's quill) with holy trembling and holy emotion, writing the "last" letter in the Sefer Torah, and thereby meriting to recite the bracha on the completion of the Torah, the rare mitzvah of "And now, write for yourselves this song, and teach it to the children of Israel." And as the Rebbe performs hagbah on the holy Sefer, followed by the saying of lechayim and a holy bracha before the thousands assembled, at the conclusion the hall will rise in fervent dancing of joy and thanksgiving, as the heads of the people gather together, thousands of Israel, around the Rebbe shlit"a, with hearts uplifted, "to rejoice in the Rebbe's simcha and in the joy of the Torah."

The upper worlds rejoiced and the lower worlds exulted. Fortunate is the eye that has seen a holy congregation stirred in the joy of the Torah. Great and holy will be the glory of this event.
