This afternoon, a lavish and elegant gathering took place in the home of the distinguished R' Chaim Hersh Oberlander, manager of the Kiryas Joel slaughterhouse, with the goal of raising the astronomical sum of two million dollars to be able to complete the building of Beis Rochel for Girls – Beis Pigeh of our holy institutions in Bnei Brak.

The magnificent building, which the Rebbe shlit"a undertook to build in Bnei Brak in the year 5774, is already nearing completion. In order to finish it so that it can be put to use after the coming school year, the partners in this mitzvah, the distinguished philanthropist R' Chaim Hersh Oberlander together with the distinguished philanthropist R' Yoel Bernath, came forward and took upon themselves the burden of arranging the splendid gathering, to be able to continue and fully complete the magnificent building until the inauguration, which is planned during the great trip to Eretz Yisroel led by the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a in the near future.

The Rebbe shlit"a honored the gathering by presiding for a very long time and praised the pure table in honor of Tu B'Shevat, as generous-hearted, distinguished invitees of renown gathered together with large pledges for the completion of the building.

In recent weeks, the organizers of the gathering invested tremendous effort that the event be crowned with the greatest success, and with Hashem's desire in their hands, they succeeded in raising nearly two and a half million dollars, in addition to the gathering, on Sunday of Parshas Vayechi, through the prominent askanim and philanthropists, the distinguished R' Yoel Schwartz together with the distinguished R' Yechezkel Shraga Brach. And b'ezras Hashem, together they will be able to complete the construction and inaugurate the magnificent building soon, with Heaven's help, for glory and splendor.
