Monday, Parshas Vayechi — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, Divrei Yoel branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochur, the bochur Asaf Wohlberg.

The Rebbe lit 5 candles in honor of the hilula kadisha of the Holy Rebbe, the Divrei Yechezkel of Shinova zy"a. During the Torah reading, the hagbah was done, and after davening the Rebbe learned the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 24, verse 1.

After davening, the Rebbe called into his private room yeshiva students who are residents of Eretz Yisroel and who are having trouble obtaining an exemption from the army of the wicked Zionists and cannot travel home for close to a year. The Rebbe strongly encouraged the bochurim and warmly bestowed his holy blessing on each one individually, that they should soon be exempted from the trouble, and that the decree of drafting yeshiva students should be completely nullified.

Afterwards a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochur, and after the lechayim the Rebbe distributed coins to the singing bochurim who lead the niggunim at the holy tish of the Rebbe shlit"a on the night of Shabbos every week.
Also, yeshiva students entered who brought in over a thousand dollars for the Kupas Zikaron Moshe, for the benefit of the holy institutions in Eretz Yisroel. The Rebbe distributed a set of the sefarim Shu"t Eitz Chaim and bestowed from his holy blessing.

During the morning hours the Rebbe visited the matzah bakery of our holy kehilla.

In the afternoon at around 4:45 the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home. Before davening, he lit 5 candles in honor of the hilula kadisha of the Holy Rebbe of Shinova zy"a.

After Mincha, at around 5:15, the Rebbe went over to the Beis Rachel building, 'Binyan Leah Esther', where the Rebbe honored the hilula kadisha with a tish together with the students of our holy yeshiva, the Yeshiva Gedolah Yoel Moshe of Satmar of Boro Park. The Rebbe washed for the seudah, and during the seudah niggunim of inspiration were sung. The Rebbe honored the Rosh Yeshiva, HaGaon Rabbi Chaim Yaakov Rubin shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Ciechanów, to relate stories about the baal hilula zy"a.
The Rebbe shlit"a then related holy stories about the baal hilula for an extended time.
The Rebbe honored the menahel, HaRav R' Dovid Shlomo Teitelbaum shlit"a, with Michtam L'Dovid, and the Rosh Yeshiva, HaGaon Av Beis Din of Ciechanów shlit"a, with Birkas Hamazon. It ended at around 6:45.

Reception hours at the holy court were from 8:30 until 12:40 at night, in his holy home on Ohel Court.

During the reception hours, bochurim askanim entered who helped out at many gatherings in our holy courts over the past year, may they be well. The Rebbe distributed twelve challos and bestowed from his holy blessing.

The Rebbe shlit"a read the tenaim of the mechutanim, R' Avrohom Yitzchak Tabak and R' Yoel Bar Yaakov.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 11:50, and afterwards continued receiving the public.
