After davening, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the Heichal of the Beis Medrash.

In the afternoon, at around 3:15, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home.

After Mincha, the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a traveled to Williamsburg, where a very successful, magnificent gathering took place in the home of the distinguished Rabbi, the esteemed philanthropist R' Yoel Schwartz, at which the fantastic sum of nearly three and a half million dollars was raised toward the completion of the building of the girls' school, Beis Faiga, of our holy institutions in Bnei Brak, may it be rebuilt.

Many of our community's philanthropists who had not yet joined the building fund were invited, and they now generously pledged so that the great and magnificent building could be completed.

During the lavish banquet, speeches were delivered by R' Menachem Gershon Lebowitz, a member of the institution's administration in Williamsburg, who was among the pioneers in making the down payment for the property, and who passionately appealed that people help so that the building can be completed speedily, and who added a fantastic sum to his initial donation; and by HaGaon R' Shlomo Shabsai Kestenbaum shlit"a, one of the rabbis of our holy Williamsburg kehilla.

Amid the speeches and the beautiful melodies, the philanthropists came up one by one to sign the pledge documents together with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a, and the Rebbe warmly extended his holy blessing.

The Rebbe shlit"a delivered words of Torah and conveyed the importance of supporting Beis Rachel in Bnei Brak, which was the beloved project of the Rebbe, the Divrei Yoel zt"l, and spoke of the severe hardship currently prevailing in the present Beis Rachel building. He spoke at length in praise of the esteemed philanthropists, especially the members of the building fund committee, and concluded with abundant blessings for the entire assembly.

After three hours, at around 8:00, the Rebbe left the gathering and warmly thanked the host, R' Yoel Schwartz and his entire family, and the other organizers of the gathering, the distinguished philanthropist R' Yechezkel Shraga Brach and the distinguished philanthropist R' Moshe Avrohom Lefkowitz, and then traveled home to Kiryas Joel.

Yechidus hours at the Rebbe's home on Uhel Court were from 9:15 until 1:00 after midnight, in his holy home.

The Satmar Rebbe shlit"a read the tenaim for the following mechutanim.

- R' Shlomo Moskowitz - R' Shlomo Klein.
