Thursday, Parshas Vayishlach — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in Heichal HaMesivta, Beirach Moshe branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim:
- The bochur Kalman Eliezer Lowy.
- The bochur Chaim Yosef Leib Markowitz.
- The bochur Menachem Yaakov Klein.
- The bochur Chaim Berger.

During the Torah reading, the Rebbe went for hagbah. After davening, he delivered the daily Tehillim shiur on chapter 24, verse 7, where the Rebbe urged the bochurim to prepare for Yom Tov Chanukah, which is coming upon us for good, by learning chassidic sefarim, especially the holy sefer Kedushas Levi, and to make a proper preparation with them. Afterwards, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in his private room.

In the afternoon, at around 5:15, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home.

In the evening, the Rebbe officiated at the kiddushin at the chuppah of the chassan Chananya Yom Tov Lipa, son of R' Yisroel Yaakov Deutsch, with the kallah, daughter of R' Zalman Leib Falkowitz, in the halls of Kinor Dovid.
Afterwards, at the chuppahs of the following mechutanim:
- R' Yitzchak Eizik Powell – R' Shmuel Yuda Stein, in the halls of Beis Rachel Paradise.
- R' Yisroel Nechemia Schwartz – R' Yosef Weber, in the halls of Keren Yoel Moshe.

Yechidus hours in Kiryas Joel were from 8:15 until 11:30 at night, in his holy home on Ohel Court.

During yechidus hours, the members of the "Kiryas Joel Vaad HaKashrus" entered, headed by HaGaon R' Hersh Leib Bernstein shlit"a, chairman of the Vaad. They discussed various questions that have arisen in recent times and reviewed various plans going forward to ensure that all products sold in Kiryas Joel are maintained at the highest standards of kashrus, and the Rebbe bestowed his holy blessing.

The Rebbe shlit"a read the tenaim of the following mechutanim:
- R' Meshulam Simcha Friedman – R' Lipa Rosenfeld.
- R' Yaakov Mordechai Teitelbaum – R' Chaim Leib Markowitz.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 11:30.

After Maariv, the Rebbe went over to the wedding celebration of the chassan Chananya Yom Tov Lipa Deutsch. The Rebbe made a lechayim and wished the chassan, the mechutanim, the grandfathers, and the entire gathering well, and afterwards danced the holy dances before the kallah and then danced with the chassan.
