Tuesday, Parshas Vayeira — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

This morning, before Shacharis, the following brissen took place:
- The son of R' Lipa Berish Neiman, where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.
- The son of R' Yitzchak Zev Greenwald, where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.
- The son of R' Yosef Dovid Laub, where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.
- The son of R' Yoel Hillel Berkowitz, where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Heichal of the Mesivta, Etz Chaim branch, third grade. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim:
- The bochur Yoel, son of R' Bentzion Weiss.
- The bochur Yosef Pinchas Koenigsberg.

After davening, the Rebbe recited the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 24, verse 1. Afterwards, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the Heichal of the beis medrash.

The Rebbe then went down to the first floor, where he affixed a mezuzah on the newly built extension, to accommodate the growing number of students. Afterwards a lechayim gathering was held, a fine conversation unfolded on the halachos of mezuzah, and the Rebbe bestowed his holy blessing upon the principal, HaRav R' Mordechai Aharon Zabel shlit"a, and upon the talmidim of the yeshiva.

In the afternoon, the Rebbe went up to the Heichal of the Yeshiva, Divrei Yoel branch, where the Rebbe learned with a chavrusa from among the yeshiva's talmidim in his private room. At around 5:10, the Rebbe davened Mincha in the yeshiva.

In the evening, the Rebbe traveled to Williamsburg for the weekly reception hours.

Upon arriving in Williamsburg, the Rebbe paid a condolence call to R' Sander Goldberger, who is sitting shiva for his wife a"h.

The reception hours at the Rebbe's holy residence on Hooper St. ran from 8:30 until 12:30 at night.

During the reception hours, HaGaon HaRav Shalom Rottah shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Oistrik, entered the Rebbe's room together with his brother-in-law, HaGaon, a dayan and moreh tzedek of our holy kehilla, shlit"a, for the writing of letters in the Sefer Torah being written by the mispallelim of the Oistrik beis medrash in Williamsburg, l'ilui nishmas his father, HaGaon, the Av Beis Din of Karlsburg zt"l. The Rebbe wrote in the letters, a fine conversation unfolded, the Rebbe drank a lechayim and bestowed his holy blessing.

Also entering were HaRav R' Hershel Rothenberg shlit"a, rav of the Gur chassidim in the U.S., together with HaGaon R' Yisroel Moshe Alevsky shlit"a, rosh yeshiva of Gur in the U.S., on behalf of the Gur Rebbe shlit"a, to receive his blessings on the occasion of the wedding of a grandchild of the Gur Rebbe shlit"a. A fine conversation ensued and the Rebbe bestowed his holy blessing.

Also entering was HaRav R' Eliezer Hersh Horowitz shlit"a, son of the Av Beis Din of Manchester shlit"a and son-in-law of the Beis Yitzchak Spinka Rebbe shlit"a, to receive his blessing on the occasion of the wedding of his son, mazel tov, which will take place next week in London, and the Rebbe blessed him.

Likewise, the administration of Beis Medrash Berach Moshe in Williamsburg entered, led by the rabbonim of the beis medrash: HaGaon HaRav Naftali Hirtzka Zwebel shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Williamsburg, and HaRav R' Moshe Rosenfeld shlit"a, dayan and moreh tzedek of the beis medrash. They brought 350 signatures from members of the community who daven at the beis medrash, with good kabbalos regarding technology and tefillah, in the merit of an increase in shidduchim. The Rebbe discussed the details of the campaign, emphasized the importance of the good kabbalos, and bestowed abundant blessings. They should be conveyed to all the mispallelim of the beis medrash.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 11:30 and then continued receiving the public.
