Wednesday, Parshas Toldos — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, Veyoel Moshe branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim.

After davening, the Rebbe recited the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 24, verse 5. Afterwards, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in his private room.

At around 12:30, the Rebbe went to the ceremony of pouring the foundations for the mikvah in the new beis medrash Yisroel Shalom in the Veyoel Moshe neighborhood, which is currently in the middle of its construction phases. The Rebbe poured the foundation of the mikvah and honored the rabbonim shlit"a in attendance with pouring as well: the Sardahel Rebbe shlit"a, the Gaon HaGadol, the Dayan U'Morah D'Asra shlit"a, his son HaGaon HaTzaddik, Av Beis Din of Sighet shlit"a, and the other distinguished rabbonim and dayanim of our kehilla, as well as the philanthropist R' Akiva Hersh Klein, benefactor of the beis medrash and builder of the neighborhood, and other prominent members of the kehilla.
Afterwards, the Rebbe looked around the beis medrash, which is in the middle of its construction phases, and heard a report from the beis medrash's benefactor, the philanthropist R' Akiva Hersh Klein, about the plans for the beis medrash. Then the Rebbe went over to the adjacent beis medrash, Beis Elazar, for a lechayim gathering. A pleasant conversation developed with the distinguished rabbonim shlit"a, including various recollections of the Divrei Yoel zy"a and various interesting questions that have arisen in recent days. The Rebbe drank lechayim and extended blessings to the rabbonim shlit"a, and especially to HaGaon R' Yitzchak Trieger shlit"a, one of the leading experts in the laws of mikvaos, to the benefactor, the philanthropist R' Akiva Hersh, and to the entire public. Afterwards, the Av Beis Din of Sighet shlit"a spoke, and the Rebbe reviewed the sketches and plans of the beis medrash. Several niggunim were sung in honor of the occasion, and it concluded at around 1:10.

At around 3:00, HaGaon Rabbi Moshe Brandsdorfer shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Heichal Horaah in Yerushalayim, the holy city, paid a visit to the Rebbe in his holy home. A pleasant conversation in halacha ensued, and the Rabbi shlit"a presented the Rebbe shlit"a with his sefer Responsa Heichal Horaah, 6 volumes, and the Rebbe bestowed his holy blessing upon him.

At around 5:15, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home.

At around 6:00, the Rebbe went to the Heichal HaKollel, where the Rebbe delivered "the word of Hashem, this is the halacha," his holy ruling, regarding the matter of the Chadrag currently on the agenda, with strong words for the sake of the sanctity of the city, and continued with words of guidance for the rabbonim and learners of the Kollel regarding these matters, and concluded with his holy blessing.

The reception hours in the kehilla's holy place were from 8:30 until 12:15 at night, in his holy home on Ohel Ct.
