Sunday, Parshas Lech Lecha — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis at the guest residence. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim:
The bochur Yosef Yissachar Dov Farkash.
The bochur Shlomo Boruch Landau.
The bochur Elyakim Getzel Fish (Boro Park).
The bochur Shimon Gartner (Monsey).

After davening, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim.

In the afternoon at around 5:00, the Rebbe shlit"a returned to his holy home, after spending the past week at the home of R' Yechezkel Dovid Berkowitz for a nechama visit. Upon arriving at his holy home, the Rebbe davened Mincha.

In the evening the Rebbe officiated at the kiddushin at the chuppah of the following mechutanim:
R' Pinchas Menachem Buxbaum - R' Avigdor Mermelstein, at Keren V'Yoel Moshe hall.
R' Michel Feldman - Mr. Hershel Kahn shlit"a, at Kinor Dovid hall.
R' Yoel Bleich - R' Moshe Dovid Weingarten, at Beis Rachel Paradise hall.

Reception hours (kabbolas kahal) were from 8:00 until 12:00 at night, at his holy home in the Ohel in Kiryas Joel.

The Rebbe shlit"a read the tenaim for the following mechutanim:
HaGaon R' Yaakov Elazar Mendlowitz z"l - R' Yoel Fish.
R' Eliezer Gold - R' Yehoshua Ber Schwartz.

During the reception hours, the Chasam Sofer Rebbe shlit"a of Bnei Brak paid a visit to the Rebbe. A pleasant conversation ensued about the study approach of the Kesav Sofer zy"a. The Rebbe spoke in praise of the halls of Torah around the world that were established by the Rebbe shlit"a. The Rebbe honored him with a lechayim and bestowed his holy blessings upon him.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 11:20 and then continued receiving the public.
