As part of continued extensive advocacy meetings by the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a in the fight against the decree on chinuch, and for the benefit of the klal and the individual among our brethren, a meeting took place today with high-ranking political officials in advance of the upcoming elections.

At around 11:00, the esteemed Speaker of the House Mike Johnson arrived to the Rebbe shlit"a at the Monsey guest residence in the home of R' Avrohom Yekusiel Yermish, together with Congressman Mike Lawler, who represents Monsey and is running for reelection. They were accompanied by the leaders and administration of the city of Kiryas Joel, R' Gedalya Segedin, and the leaders of our holy kehilla in Monsey. They spoke at length about the decree on chinuch in New York and what they can do to help with all the means at their disposal, as well as other matters for the benefit of the community. They promised to cooperate on everything that will be raised regarding the problem of chinuch and all other issues, and the Rebbe shlit"a bestowed upon them from his holy blessing in honor of the upcoming elections.
