Thursday, Parshas Eikev — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

This morning, before Shacharis, the following brisos took place:
For the newborn son of R' Yoel Friedman, where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.
For the newborn son of R' Chaim Yaakov Lebovitch, where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, Beirach Moshe branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim.

During the Torah reading, the Rebbe went to the hagbah, and after davening he recited the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 22, verse 4. Afterwards the talmidei hayeshiva came over to greet him, and a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in his private room.

In the morning hours, the Rebbe made his weekly visit to the glatt kosher slaughterhouse, together with HaGaon Rabbi Yoshe Rubin shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Bobov-45, who came to see the shechita. The Rebbe walked around together with him for an extended time and pointed out the many chumros and hiddurim for which the slaughterhouse is distinguished. A pleasant conversation ensued, and the Rebbe imparted to him his holy blessing.

At around 7:30, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home on Zanz Street.

In the evening, the Rebbe officiated at the kiddushin at the chuppah of the following mechutanim.

R' Avrohom Hersh Weinberger - HaRav R' Shmuel Meir Levy shlit"a, at Kinor Dovid hall.
R' Yedidya Klagsbrun (Monsey) - R' Baruch Azriel Yechiel Lavi, at Ginas Klein hall.

Yechidus hours were from 8:15 until 12:30 at night, in his holy home on Uhel Street.

R' Tzion Ovadia Masri (Williamsburg) - R' Avrohom Yitzchak Kaira.

During the yechidus hours, the Chust-Nadvorna Rebbe shlit"a of the Chasam Sofer neighborhood in Kiryas Joel came for a visit, on the occasion of the wedding of his daughter, mazel tov, which took place this week. A pleasant conversation ensued, and the Rebbe imparted to him his holy blessing.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 12:30.
