Friday, Parshas Eikev — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, Divrei Yoel branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim.

After davening, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the Rebbe's private room.

After Shacharis, the Rebbe paid a shiva visit to comfort the mourner, R' Yitzchak Ehrenfeld, who is sitting shiva for his brother a"h.

Afterwards, the Rebbe went over to the main beis medrash, where a bris was held for a baby boy born to R' Aharon Weinberger (London). The Rebbe served as sandek. Before the bris, the Rebbe greeted the HaGaon, Av Beis Din of London shlit"a, who served as mohel, and a pleasant conversation developed.

Afterwards, the Rebbe went to return a visit to the Toldos Avraham Yitzchak Rebbe shlit"a at the guest residence of R' Shimi Reich in the Chasam Sofer neighborhood in Kiryas Joel. A pleasant conversation ensued about the teachings of the holy Chasam Sofer zy"a and about the expansion of the boundaries of holiness in the city of Kiryas Joel. The Toldos Avraham Yitzchak Rebbe shlit"a honored the Rebbe shlit"a with a lechayim, and the Rebbe bestowed upon him from his holy blessing.
