Tuesday, Parshas Eikev — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

In the morning, before Shacharis, a bris was held for the newborn son of R' Moshe Aharon Schonbrun, at which the Rebbe served as sandek.

The Rebbe davened Shacharis in Heichal HaMesivta, the Etz Chaim branch, Shiur Gimmel. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim.
The twin sons of HaRav HaGaon R' Yoel Teitelbaum shlit"a, a rebbi in Yeshivas Chochmas HaTorah, son of the Gaon Rabbi, Rav of our kehilla in Boro Park 15, shlit"a.

After davening, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the Heichal of the beis medrash.

In the afternoon, the Rebbe went up to Heichal HaYeshiva, the Divrei Yoel branch, where the Rebbe learned with a chavrusa from among the talmidim of the yeshiva in his private room.

In the evening, the Rebbe officiated at kiddushin at the chuppahs of the following mechutanim:
R' Avrohom Yissachar Kaim (Williamsburg) – R' Menachem Shlomo Rosenfeld, at Gineth Klein hall.
R' Levi Chaim Spitzer – R' Dovid Hecht, at Keren V'Yoel Moshe hall.
HaGaon R' Yehoshua Schnebalg shlit"a – the Chust-Nadvorna Rebbe shlit"a, at Rachel Paradise hall.

At about 8:30, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home on Ahel Court.
Afterwards, there were yechidus hours in Kiryas Joel until 12:40 after midnight.

During the yechidus hours, HaRav HaTzaddik Rabbi Yaakov Yosef Twersky shlit"a, son of the Skver Rebbe shlit"a, entered the inner sanctum to receive his blessing and to invite the Rebbe shlit"a to the wedding of his son the chosson, which took place yesterday, Wednesday, in Shikun Skver, and the Rebbe bestowed upon him from his holy blessing.

Also entering the inner sanctum was HaGaon R' Mesholam Nosson Spiegel shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Tefilla L'Moshe, Kolashin, Monsey, to receive his blessing on the occasion of the wedding of his son the chosson, mazel tov, and the Rebbe bestowed upon him and upon his son the chosson from his holy blessing.

The Rebbe shlit"a read the tenaim in the tenaim room in his holy home for the following mechutanim:
R' Yisroel Yuda Yaakov Goldberger – R' Moshe Aryeh Gutman.
R' Yoel Caira and R' Eliyahu Reuven Sapdi.

During the yechidus hours, a lechayim celebration was held on the occasion of the engagement of the mechutanim HaGaon R' Yeshaya Panet shlit"a, son of the Dej Rebbe of Boro Park shlit"a, and HaGaon R' Berel Margaliot shlit"a, one of the leading members of the committee for the expansion of the borders of Kiryas Joel. A pleasant conversation ensued about the tzaddikim of the house of Dej. The Rebbe drank lechayim and wished the chosson, the mechutanim and the entire family well. In addition, the Rebbe telephoned to wish the grandfather, HaGaon R' Asher Margaliot shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Ohel Moshe in Vienna.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at about 12:40.
