Sunday, Parshas Va'eschanan — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe entered for Shacharis at around 9:00. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim:
The son of Rabbi Yaakov Shalom Weiss shlit"a (Kiryas Joel).
The bochur Yoel Kahana (Kiryas Tash).

Baal tefillah: R' Mordechai Wider (Kiryas Tash).
After davening, the guests went over to take their leave, and the bochur Mordechai Yoel son of Tzvi Elimelech Glick (Montreal) presented an answer to the Rebbe's question.
Afterwards, a lechayim gathering took place with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the Heichal HaBeis Medrash, and a beautiful conversation unfolded about the HaGaon HaKadosh, the Arugas HaBosem zt"l, whose yahrzeit it was.

At the time of Rabbeinu Tam, around 9:15, Maariv was davened. Baal tefillah: the bochur Aharon, son of Rabbi Dovid Leib Krois shlit"a (Kiryas Joel).

After Maariv, the Rebbe made a condolence call by telephone to the Liska Rebbe shlit"a, who is sitting shiva for his wife, the Liska Rebbetzin a"h.
