Friday, Erev Shabbos, Parshas Devarim — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe entered for Shacharis at around 8:45. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochur, the bochur Yechezkel Shraga Landau (Monsey).

After davening, a lechayim gathering took place in the heichal of the beis medrash for the bar mitzvah bochur and in honor of the simcha of the third day after the bris of the Rebbe's grandson, born to Rabbi Baruch Rokeach shlit"a, son-in-law of HaGaon HaTzaddik, rav of the Beis Medrash Ohel Feiga shlit"a. A pleasant conversation took place about the Arizal zy"a, whose yahrzeit falls today, 5 Av, and about various topics relating to the third day after a bris. The Rebbe drank a lechayim and wished mazel tov to the bar mitzvah bochur and to the baal simcha, his grandson Rabbi Baruch Rokeach shlit"a.

Afterwards the Rebbe walked home to his holy residence. On the way, a pleasant conversation took place about the mikvah of the Arizal in Tzfas.
