Report
Friday, Erev Shabbos Kodesh, Parshas Devarim — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

In the morning at around 7:00, the Rebbe went to the mikvah and then returned to his private room in his holy home in the shul courtyard.

At around 7:50, the Rebbe went up to the beis hachaim in the ancestral city of Sighet, to visit the holy graves of his forebears, our holy Rebbes, the Eitz HaTemarim zy"a, together with hundreds of community members, to pray for the klal and the individual, to be remembered for salvation and mercy.
Upon arriving at the beis hachaim, the Rebbe recited the blessing Mechayei HaMeisim. The Rebbe entered the holy ohel with awe, reverence and holy emotion, and lit five candles at each of the graves of our holy Rebbes, the Yetev Lev, the Kedushas Yom Tov, and the Eitz Chaim zy"a, and also at the grave of the holy Rebbe R' Moshe Yosef of Uhel zt"l, while the stirring melody "Middas HaRachamim Aleinu Hisgalgelu" was sung, and the Rebbe wept stormily, breaking all hearts.
The Rebbe returned to the grave of the Yetev Lev, and after a few minutes the Rebbe began the prayer of Shalom Aleichem, composed by the holy Yismach Moshe zy"a, with great weeping. He then recited the chapters of Tehillim from the fourth book, from chapter 90 until 107, as is customary, and recited the Yehi Ratzon prayers with weeping for a long time, and the Rebbe said Kaddish.
Afterwards the Rebbe read kvitlach for a longer time while several melodies from the beis medrash of our holy Rebbes zy"a were sung, and then the Rebbe prostrated himself on the holy grave for a long time. The Rebbe then went to the grave of the Kedushas Yom Tov zy"a, read kvitlach and prostrated himself on the holy grave, and then at the grave of the Eitz Chaim zy"a. At all three holy graves, the Rebbe took the kvitlach of the community members, read them and placed them at the holy grave.
At around 9:15, the Rebbe left the holy ohel, having accomplished everything good for us and for all Yisroel. The Rebbe washed his hands and walked back to the shul courtyard.

At around 10:15, the Rebbe entered the beis medrash for Shacharis.
Before davening, the Rebbe greeted the HaGaon, Av Beis Din of London shlit"a.
The Rebbe put on tefillin in the heichal of the beis medrash. The baal tefillah was R' Akiva Hirsch (of Williamsburg).
After davening, the entire congregation went over to greet the Rebbe, and the Rebbe went down to his holy home in the shul courtyard.
