Tuesday, Parshas Behaalosecha

The Satmar Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Beis Medrash HaGadol.

After davening, a bris of a newborn son took place for R' Chaim Mendel Feierstein at the home of his father-in-law, HaRav R' Binyomin Klein, where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.

In the afternoon, the Rebbe went up to the Heichal HaYeshiva, the Kedushas Yoel branch, where the Rebbe learned with a chavrusa from among the talmidim of the yeshiva in his private room. At around 6:15 the Rebbe davened Mincha in the yeshiva.

In the evening, the Rebbe shlit"a officiated at the kiddushin at the chuppah of the mechutanim HaRav R' Yechezkel Shraga Stein shlit"a and HaRav R' Yoel Friend, in the Kinor David hall.

Afterwards the Rebbe traveled to Williamsburg for the weekly yechidus hours.

On the way, the Rebbe shlit"a called the distinguished R' Fishel Rispler, the prominent philanthropist, and wished him a "tischadesh" blessing on the renewal of the magnificent wedding hall "Ginas Esther," where the first simchas were held with great splendor and glory in recent days. The Rebbe inquired about all the details of how the first simchas went, and said that he is hearing back very fine regards from the mechutanim and relatives. He also conveyed his holy blessings that he should be able to increase simchas for Jewish children with an open heart and generosity.

Upon arrival in Williamsburg, the Rebbe comforted the mourner HaGaon Rabbi Binyomin Strasser shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Nitra in Boro Park, and his esteemed brothers shlit"a, who are sitting shiva for their mother a"h.

The yechidus hours at the Rebbe's residence on Hooper St. lasted from about 8:40 until 12:30 after midnight, in his holy home.

During the yechidus hours, the Av Beis Din of Williamsburg shlit"a entered the Rebbe's room and delivered a report on the second beautifully performed wheat harvest, held on Monday in the fields of Woodland, California, a place where rain is not common in the summer months, from where the Rav shlit"a had just returned. The Rebbe inquired for an extended time about all the details of the harvest.

Also entering the holy room was HaGaon Rabbi Moshe Friedman shlit"a, dayan of our kehilla in Boro Park, to receive the Rebbe's blessing for the simcha of the wedding of his youngest daughter, which takes place next week. The Rebbe warmly conveyed his holy blessings.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 11:45 and afterwards continued receiving the public.
