Friday, Erev Shabbos Parshas Acharei — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Beis Medrash HaGadol. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim.

The Rebbe lit 5 candles on the occasion of the yahrzeit of his ancestor, the Divrei Chaim of Sanz zy"a.

After davening, a lechayim gathering was held on the occasion of the holy hilula before a large crowd in the Cheder Avrohom Yuda in the Beis Medrash HaGadol.
The Rebbe honored R' Yosef Moshe Ungar (Monsey) with the Michtam L'Dovid. The Rebbe drank a lechayim and offered blessings to the bar mitzvah bochurim and to the entire assembly, and related holy stories and accounts for an extended time.
