Sunday, Parshas Tetzaveh — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

In the morning, before Shacharis, a bris took place for a newborn son of R' Yechiel Shlomo Stern, at which the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Heichal of Mesivta Branch Kedushas Yoel. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim.

After davening, the Rebbe led the daily Tehillim shiur on chapter 19, verse 10, after which a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the Rebbe's private room.

During the morning hours, the Rebbe went on his weekly visit to the glatt kosher slaughterhouse.

The Rebbe davened Mincha at around 6:10, and Maariv at around 6:50, in his holy home.

At around 7:15, the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a went over to the Mivtzar HaKollelim building for the "Torah and Greatness" gathering, the inauguration celebration of the new, magnificent Goldstein Hall in the Mivtzar HaKollelim building, designated for the larger donors. The Rebbe drank a lechayim and warmly extended his blessings to the entire assembly, and especially to the donor of the floor, the esteemed R' Moshe Goldstein, a member of the Mivtzar HaKollelim board. He then delivered holy words in praise of the donors and supporters of Torah and in praise of Mivtzar HaKollelim, from which such beautiful fruits emerge, and concluded with abundant blessings for the donors and the entire community. The Rebbe left the gathering at around 7:50.

At around 8:15, the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a arrived in Shikun Skvira for the levaya of the Rebbetzin of Skvira a"h, the sister-in-law of the Skvira Rebbe shlit"a, which took place in front of the main beis medrash of Shikun Skvira. The Rebbe then accompanied the bier to the cemetery, where he waited until after the burial. Afterward, the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a comforted the mourner, the Skvira Rebbe shlit"a, and the children on their way out through the row. From there, the Rebbe went to the home of the Skvira Rebbe shlit"a with the family members for a longer time, in private. At around 10:35, the Rebbe traveled home to his holy residence in Kiryas Joel.
