Friday, Parshas Terumah, 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

In the morning before Shacharis, a bris was held for a newborn son of R' Shmuel Itzkowitz, at which the Rebbe was sandek.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the hall of the Yeshiva Ketana Kedushas Yom Tov branch, under the direction of HaRav R' Shmuel Meir Levy shlit"a. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim.

After davening a lechayim gathering was held in the hall of the beis medrash. Several nigunim were sung, and the Rebbe drank lechayim and wished the bar mitzvah bochurim, the rebbeim and the talmidim of the yeshiva well. He also delivered words of his holy Torah on the verse "And they shall take for Me a terumah," saying that one must be separated from the gentile street and not follow its fashions, and he concluded with his holy blessing.
