A truly splendid welcome party took place this past Thursday night, Parshas Shemos, arranged for the nearly 50 new, fresh residents who have moved in recent times to the city of tzedek, the royal city, "Kiryas Joel."
The event took place on the top floor of the Mivtzar HaKollelim building of our holy kehilla, where they were awaited by the devoted gabbaim of Kvias Itim of our holy kehilla from each area separately, headed by Rabbi Yoel Weinberger shlit"a, the director of the organization. A light refreshment was prepared for the entire assembled crowd.
After spending some time together with the gabbaim, Rabbi Yoel shlit"a addressed the gathering. He presented various tips on how to integrate easily here in the city, and he also described the services that the kehilla here in Kiryas Joel provides, especially regarding providing chavrusas for everyone, in any place or subject one desires to learn. The crowd dispersed, full of chizuk to continue with their Torah shiurim and daily work.
