Shabbos Kodesh, Parshas Chayei Sarah, Mevarchim Chodesh Kislev — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

On Erev Shabbos afternoon, the Rebbe shlit"a put on the shtreimel for the chasanim.
The chasan Moshe Meshulam, the bochur, son of Yechiel Alter Taub.
The chasan Moshe Menachem, the bochur, son of Nachum Shimshon Schwartz.
The chasan Yaakov Moshe, the bochur, son of Aharon Dovid Yitzchak Rubinstein.

On Friday night at around 5:15, the Rebbe shlit"a entered the beis medrash wrapped in his tallis and approached the amud for Mincha and Kabbalas Shabbos: R' Yoshe Shmuel Weider.

They finished at around 6:50, the congregation went over to wish a gut Shabbos, and the Rebbe went home to his holy residence.

At around 8:30, the Rebbe shlit"a entered the Shabbos seudah in the Heichal HaShulchanos together with the talmidei hayeshiva, and began, in his holy manner, Shalom Aleichem with emotion and sweetness.
Eishes Chayil: the Rebbe's grandson, the chasan Meir Eliezer, may he have a good mazel, son of HaGaon Rabbi Rav Dbeis Medrash Berach Moshe shlit"a. Hagbahas Hakos: R' Eliezer Dov Engel (Yerushalayim).

The Rebbe shlit"a honored several people with the zemiros. Kol Mekadesh: Rabbi Nechemia Kahana shlit"a (Bnei Brak); Menucha V'Simcha: R' Eliezer Dov Engel.

The Rebbe shlit"a said Torah on the verse "And the servant took a golden ring, a beka its weight," and explained, in the manner of a drush, the sugya of shiurim by a ben Noach.

Kah Ribon Olam: the Rebbe's grandson Rabbi Chaim Hersh Teitelbaum shlit"a of Ratzfert (Boro Park). The new chasanim went over to take fruit, and "Ba'yom Hashvii": R' Avigdor Shisha (Beit Shemesh). They finished at around 11:15.

And on the holy day of Shabbos

On Shabbos morning, the Rebbe shlit"a entered the beis medrash at around 9:25. Pesukei D'Zimra: HaGaon R' Menachem Shlomo Rosenberger shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Neshkhiz (Williamsburg). The Rebbe then approached the amud for Shacharis.

After the Torah reading, the Rebbe shlit"a blessed the new month with great hisorerus.

After davening, the simchas Kiddush Rabbah in honor of the newborn took place in the Heichal HaPolish in our holy courts, hosted by the Rebbe's son-in-law, HaGaon Rabbi Rav Dbeis Medrash Kol Eliyahu shlit"a. The Rebbe made Kiddush, niggunei simcha were sung, and the baal simcha spoke. The Rebbe drank lechayim and warmly wished the baal simcha and the entire gathering well. He delivered divrei Torah on the verse "And Avrohom was old, well on in years," explaining that Avrohom Avinu used the middos of yirah and anavah to be able to restrain the ahavah, and he concluded with a bracha. They finished at around 12:45.

The Rebbe shlit"a entered for Mincha and Shalosh Seudos at around 5:15. Mincha: R' Yoel ben Hirsch. Hotza'ah and Hachnasah: R' Uri Yuda Kaufman. Kohen: Rabbi Nechemia Kahana shlit"a. Levi: R' Yoel Berger. Shlishi: the Rebbe's grandson, Rabbi Chaim Hersh Teitelbaum shlit"a of Ratzfert (Boro Park). Hagbah: the Rebbe shlit"a. Gelila: R' Yechiel Klein (Montreal).

At Shalosh Seudos, the Rebbe honored people with the zemiros. Odeh: R' Noach Gefen; Shir HaMaalos: R' Anshil Lichtenstein.

The Rebbe shlit"a said Torah on the verse "And Avrohom was old, well on in years," explaining that through engaging in Torah, the power of hearing is opened so that one can hear the bas kol from Heaven, and it awakens the heart toward Hashem.

Yedid Nefesh: R' Yuda Moshe Gelb (Montreal); Kel Mistater: R' Shmuel Berger. The Rebbe blessed over the cup and recited Sheva Brachos.

Maariv, Motzei Shabbos: from Shabbos Kodesh, R' Yoshe Mendlowitz. After Havdalah, the congregation went over to wish a gutte voch. They finished at around 7:40.

After Havdalah, a group of bochurim, talmidei Yeshivas Bobov of Boro Park who spent Shabbos b'tzeil hakodesh, entered the Rebbe's holy residence. The Rebbe asked them about their learning and blessed them with his holy bracha.

At around 10:40, the Rebbe shlit"a arrived at Camp Nitra in Woodbourne for the Melaveh Malkah following the elevated Shabbos, led by HaGaon HaMashpia R' Yosef Chaim Greenwald shlit"a, for the 'V'Talmudo B'Yado' group of the yeshivos ketanos of the Kiryas Joel mosdos.
HaGaon R' Baruch Shlomo Weinberger shlit"a, head administrator in Kiryas Joel, spoke. Then the siyum took place, at which dozens of bochurim completed many masechtos of Shas, and HaGaon R' Chaim Eliezer Davidowitz shlit"a, administrator of the Yeshiva Ketana Avnei Tzedek branch, recited Kaddish. Afterwards the examiner, HaGaon R' Avrohom Schwartz shlit"a of Bnei Brak, tested the bochurim by heart for an extended time while the Rebbe watched with great nachas.

The Rebbe drank lechayim and wished the heads of the group and all the bochurim well, especially the patron of the group, R' Yitzchak Schwartz, to whom he gave an extra mazel tov in honor of the marriage of his son, the chasan.
The Rebbe shlit"a delivered divrei Torah about the importance of learning Torah during free time, and concluded with abundant brachos for all the bochurim and the heads of the group. They finished at around 11:20, and the Rebbe traveled home to his holy residence in Kiryas Joel.
