Tuesday, Parshas Chayei Sarah — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

This morning before Shacharis, a bris took place for the newborn son of R' Yoel Goldstein, at which the Rebbe served as sandek.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, Etz Chaim branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochurim:
The bochur Yosef Chaim Palatschek.
The bochur Yoel Fish.

After davening, the Rebbe recited the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 18, verse 34. Afterwards, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the Heichal of the beis medrash.

In the afternoon, the Rebbe shlit"a went up to the Heichal HaYeshiva, Vyoel Moshe branch, where the Rebbe learned with a chavrusa from among the talmidim of the yeshiva in his private room. At around 5:00, the Rebbe davened Mincha in the yeshiva.

In the evening, the Rebbe shlit"a traveled to Williamsburg for the weekly reception hours.
The reception hours took place from around 8:15 until 12:20 at night, in his holy home on Hewes St.

During the reception hours, HaGaon Rabbi Yeshaya Tzvi Brief shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Toras Shimon, Yerushalayim, visited together with his son, the chassan, to receive the Rebbe's holy blessings in honor of the upcoming wedding. A pleasant conversation took place, and the Rebbe bestowed his holy blessings upon them.

Also entering the Rebbe's holy room was HaRav Rabbi Moshe Mordechai Katz shlit"a, son of the Vienna Rebbe shlit"a and son-in-law of the Vizhnitz Rebbe of Eretz Yisroel shlit"a, together with his son, the chassan, to receive the holy blessings and to invite the Rebbe shlit"a to the wedding taking place this coming Tuesday. The Rebbe bestowed his holy blessings upon them and sent regards to his father, the Vienna Rebbe shlit"a.
Also entering the Rebbe's holy room was HaGaon Rabbi Yoel Heinich Horowitz shlit"a, son-in-law of the HaGaon Rav of our kehilla, Boro Park 15, shlit"a, together with his son, the chassan, to receive the holy blessings and to invite the Rebbe shlit"a to the wedding taking place this coming Tuesday. The Rebbe bestowed his holy blessings upon them.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 11:35, and afterwards continued receiving the public.

After the reception hours, at around 12:25, the Rebbe shlit"a went over to the La Chateau hall for the Sheva Brachos celebration of the chassan and kallah, grandchildren of the Spinka Rebbe of Beis Yitzchak shlit"a. A pleasant conversation ensued; the Rebbe drank a lechayim and warmly wished the chassan, the mechutanim, and the grandfathers well. After Bentching, the Rebbe recited the Sheva Brachos, and then went out to dance with the chassan and mechutanim, and especially with the grandfather, the Spinka Rebbe shlit"a. At around 12:50, the Rebbe left the hall on the way home to his holy residence in Kiryas Joel.
