Monday, Parshas Chayei Sarah, 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Satmar Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, Divrei Yoel branch. During the Torah reading the Rebbe was called up for Shlishi, and after davening he learned the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 18, verse 34.

At around 12:40 in the morning, the Rebbe shlit"a arrived at the Talmud Torah building on Palatschek, where the 'Start of Learning Gemara' ceremony took place for close to 500 fourth-grade talmidim from the 4 branches of the Kiryas Joel mosdos.
The children sang several nigunim and recited rhymes in honor of the occasion. The Rebbe drank a lechayim, distributed shirayim to the grandchildren, and then said a few brief words of blessing, and gave shirayim to the melamdim to distribute to all the children. It concluded at around 1:00.

In the afternoon the Rebbe shlit"a went up to the Heichal HaYeshiva, Beirach Moshe branch, where the Rebbe learned with a chavrusa from among the yeshiva's talmidim in his private room. At around 5:00 the Rebbe davened Mincha in the yeshiva.

Reception hours for kvitlach were from around 8:00 until 10:00 at night, at the Rebbe's holy home on Ahel Court.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 8:40, and afterwards continued receiving the public.

In our holy kehilla in Monsey, the central Sheva Brachos celebration took place in our holy courts, arranged by the members of the kehilla in honor of the esteemed grandfathers, the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a and HaGaon Rabbi, the Av Beis Din of Monsey shlit"a, in the halls of Ateres Charna, together with the siyum on Maseches Nazir as part of the Yesodei HaTorah group.
Hundreds of members of the kehilla took part, along with dozens of rabbonim and dayanim of Monsey, among others.
Present were the Skulen Monsey Rebbe shlit"a, the Nikolsburg Rebbe shlit"a, the Parshe Rebbe shlit"a, the Zvehil Rebbe shlit"a, the Spinka Irmont Rebbe shlit"a, the Stanislav Monsey Rebbe shlit"a, HaGaon Rabbi the Av Beis Din of Nitra shlit"a, HaGaon Rabbi Hershel Fish shlit"a of Zidichov-Premishla, HaGaon Rabbi Hershel Rabinowitz shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Bobov 45 Monsey, HaGaon Rabbi Yoshe Leifer shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Be'er Moshe and president of Oz VeHadar, the sons of the Skver Rebbe shlit"a, HaGaon Rabbi the dayan of Shikun Skver shlit"a, HaGaon Rabbi the dayan of Munkatch shlit"a, HaGaon Rabbi the dayan of Belz shlit"a, and many other rabbonim and dayanim.

The rabbonim of our kehilla, HaRav R' Yechezkel Weiss shlit"a and HaRav R' Yaakov Weiss shlit"a, and HaGaon Rabbi the Av Beis Din of Monsey shlit"a, spoke.

At around 10:30 the Rebbe shlit"a was received. Upon arrival the Rebbe danced on the spot, and the chairman, Rabbi Moshe Yosef Ashkenazi shlit"a, director of Hisachdus Avreichim, honored HaRav R' Anshil Gruber shlit"a, a maggid shiur in our holy kehilla, with making the siyum on Maseches Nazir, and HaRav Chaim Elazar Weiss shlit"a of Chmelnik with saying Kaddish. Afterwards the Rebbe stood up and danced for an extended time.

Then rhymes in honor of the occasion were heard from a child from our mosdos. The Rebbe drank a lechayim and warmly wished the chosson, the mechutanim, the grandfathers, and the entire assembly well, and said a few words about the simcha of chosson and kallah and in honor of the siyum of the Yesodei HaTorah group. He then spoke in praise of our holy kehilla and mosdos in Monsey, which is growing in quantity and quality under the leadership of the Rav shlit"a, who invests so much effort, and concluded with abundant blessings.

Afterwards, humorous words were heard from R' Hershel Friedman together with R' Aharon Yosef Markowitz.
The Rebbe honored HaGaon Rabbi the Av Beis Din of Monsey shlit"a with leading Birchas Hamazon, and the Rebbe recited the Sheva Brachos.

It concluded at around 11:45, and the Rebbe traveled home to his holy residence in Kiryas Joel.
