Shabbos Kodesh, Parshas Vayeira — Shabbos Sheva Brachos in Our Holy Courts, the Kallah the Granddaughter of the Chasan's Father-in-Law HaGaon HaTzaddik Rav of the Ohel Piga Beis Medrash shlit"a — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

Friday night at around 6:20 the Rebbe entered the beis medrash wrapped in his tallis, accompanied by the chasan and the mechutanim, and approached the amud for Mincha and Kabbalas Shabbos: HaGaon HaTzaddik R' Aharon Shmuel Dushinsky shlit"a, Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshivas Beis Yosef Tzvi Dushinsky, Yerushalayim.

The davening concluded at around 7:45. After davening the congregation went over to wish a gut Shabbos, and the Rebbe went home to his holy residence.

At around 10:30 the Rebbe shlit"a entered the tish in the great beis medrash, and began, as is his holy custom, with Shalom Aleichem with emotion and sweetness.
Eishes Chayil: the Rebbe's grandson, the chasan Yisroel Dushinsky. Raising of the cup: HaGaon HaTzaddik, Av Beis Din of Monsey shlit"a.

The Rebbe shlit"a honored people with the zemiros. Kol Mekadesh: Rabbi Mordechai Zev Dushinsky shlit"a (Yerushalayim). Menucha V'Simcha: R' Tzvi Avigdor Pekete shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Napkar Monsey.

The Rebbe shlit"a said Torah on the verse "Vayeira eilav Hashem" and explained, in the manner of a derush, the sugya of hefker making a kinyan.

At the tish the Sheva Brachos simcha of the granddaughter of HaGaon HaGadol, Dayan and Moreh Tzedek of Kiryas Joel shlit"a, also took place.

The Rebbe honored people with the Sheva Brachos. The first brachos: HaGaon HaGadol, the Dayan and Moreh Tzedek shlit"a. The final bracha: HaGaon HaTzaddik Rabbi Yaakov Yissachar Ber Rosenbaum shlit"a, the Nadvorna-Linsk Rebbe.

The new chasanim came over to take fruit. The Rebbe also distributed shirayim to the chasan and the mechutanim. The Simchas Hashalom Zachor also took place at the home of R' Avrohom Menachem Wertheimer.

Afterwards the badchan, R' Shmuel Krausz shlit"a, called the Rebbe shlit"a to the mitzvah tantz, and the Rebbe danced before the kallah with fiery enthusiasm for a lengthy time, and then danced with the chasan. Afterwards the Rebbe honored the grandfathers to dance: the Dushinsky Rebbe shlit"a, the Av Beis Din of Monsey shlit"a, the Tomshov Rebbe shlit"a, and the mechutanim shlit"a. Then, because it was the seventh day, the Rebbe danced in a circle in the main hall of the beis medrash together with the chasan, the mechutanim and the members of the family. The tish ended at around 12:50.

On Shabbos Kodesh

On Shabbos morning the Rebbe shlit"a entered the beis medrash at around 9:40. Pesukei D'Zimra: the Av Beis Din of Napkar Monsey shlit"a. The Rebbe approached the amud for Shacharis, and sent the mechutan HaRav R' Aryeh Menachem Mendel Rubin shlit"a to lead the chazaras hashatz.

The Rebbe shlit"a said Torah on the verse "Yukach na meat mayim v'rachatzu ragleichem" and explained that one can reach complete teshuva if a person gives away his money for tzedakah, which is a sign that he also gives himself over to the Creator, and likewise if one sacrifices sleep to learn Torah, which is also a form of mesiras nefesh. But if one gives tzedakah only in order to show off, it is not favorable before Hashem.

Yedid Nefesh: Rabbi Yechezkel Yoel Samet shlit"a. Kel Mistateir: Rabbi Shalom Neufeld shlit"a. The Rebbe recited the blessing over the cup and said the Sheva Brachos.

Maariv for Motzei Shabbos: HaGaon HaTzaddik, Av Beis Din of Monsey shlit"a. After Havdalah the congregation went over to wish a gut voch. The davening concluded at around 8:50.

On Motzei Shabbos at around 10:45 a visit took place in Kiryas Joel at the Rebbe's mechutan, the Dushinsky Rebbe shlit"a. A lengthy conversation took place about the spreading of Torah by his grandfather the holy R' Yitzchok Yeshaya Dushinsky zt"l and stories about the Aryeh d'vei Ilaah zy"a. The Dushinsky Rebbe shlit"a also conveyed greetings from his visit to the Yeshiva Gedolah, Shiur Daled. The Rebbe honored him with a lechayim and bestowed upon him his holy blessing, and accompanied him out to the street.

At around 11:40 the Rebbe shlit"a went over to the Ohel Piga beis medrash for the central Sheva Brachos, arranged by the mispallelim of the beis medrash in honor of the Rebbe shlit"a and the HaGaon HaTzaddik, Rav of the beis medrash shlit"a.
Zemiros of Melaveh Malka were sung, and Rabbi Yoel Weinberger shlit"a, director of Kvius Itim LaTorah, spoke and highlighted the many hours of Torah that come out of the beis medrash. Afterwards the Dushinsky Rebbe shlit"a spoke and shared divrei Torah and spoke in praise of Kiryas Joel.
The Rebbe drank a lechayim and warmly wished the chasan, the mechutanim, the grandfathers, the Rabbanim HaTzaddikim shlit"a, and the entire congregation well. He also shared words of Torah in the manner of a derush, mentioning a question that one of the children of the Tomshov Rebbe shlit"a had asked about the Torah of Friday night and answering it. Afterwards he spoke in praise of the beis medrash, saying that it is the most used beis medrash in Kiryas Joel after the great beis medrash, and concluded with his holy blessing.

R' Yosef Chaim Rottenstreich performed as badchan. For Birkas Hamazon the Rebbe honored the kallah's father, the chasan's father-in-law, HaGaon HaTzaddik, Rav of the beis medrash shlit"a. First brachos: the chasan's father shlit"a. Final bracha: Rabbi Baruch Rokeach shlit"a, son-in-law of HaGaon HaTzaddik, Rav of the Ohel Piga Beis Medrash shlit"a. Afterwards the Rebbe stood up and danced together with the chasan and the mechutanim for a lengthy time. The event ended at around 1:00, and the Rebbe went home to his holy residence.
