Shabbos Kodesh, Parshas Nitzavim — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

On Friday night at around 7:50, the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a entered the beis medrash wrapped in his tallis and approached the amud for Mincha. Kabbalas Shabbos: HaRav HaTzaddik R' Berel Glantz shlit"a of Bardiov, Kiryas Joel.
Davening ended at around 9:30, the congregation passed by to wish a gut Shabbos, and the Rebbe went into his private room.

At around 10:00 the Rebbe shlit"a entered the Friday night seudah in the Heichal HaShulchanos together with hundreds of talmidim of Shiur Gimmel from the yeshivos ketanos in Kiryas Joel, and began, as is his holy custom, Shalom Aleichem with emotion and sweetness.
Eshes Chayil: the Rebbe's grandson, the chasan Meir Eliezer, may he be well, son of HaGaon HaTzaddik, the Rav of the beis medrash, Birkas Moshe shlit"a. Lifting of the cup: R' Naftali Zvi Brody shlit"a (Bnei Brak).

Before the fish, the Rebbe shlit"a delivered divrei Torah on the verse "You are standing today" — "If you want to endure in the world, engage in Torah" — that one should make the proper preparation for the holy days through steadfast learning of Torah.

Aliyos. Kohen: R' Yisroel Meir Friedman — the Rebbe made a Mi Sheberach for the birth of his daughter, mazel tov. Levi: the chasan, the bochur Avrohom Berger. Shlishi: the chasan, the bochur Avish Acker. Revi'i: the chasan, the bochur Chananya Goldberger. Chamishi: the chasan, the bochur Yoel Silberstein. Shishi: the Rebbe shlit"a.

After his aliyah, the Rebbe shlit"a made a Mi Sheberach for the birth of a daughter for:

R' Dovid Falkowitz.

R' Yoel Shlomo Zaldan.
R' Yaakov Moshe Friedman.

On Shabbos afternoon before Mincha, the Rebbe shlit"a came down to the hall in his holy home, where the choir sang the 6 new nigunim for the Yamim Noraim, b'ezras Hashem, and the Rebbe bestowed his holy blessings that it be with success and siyata d'Shmaya.

The Rebbe shlit"a entered for Mincha and Seudah Shlishis at around 7:45. Mincha: R' Yisroel Spitzer. Hotzaah and Hachnasah: R' Chaim Yechezkel Krishevsky (London). Kohen: R' Shlomo Katz. Levi: R' Zvi Eliezer Marmorstein. Shlishi: the Rebbe's son-in-law, HaGaon HaTzaddik, the Rav of the beis medrash, Yismach Moshe shlit"a. Hagbah: the Rebbe shlit"a. Gelilah: R' Yisroel Yaakov Sofer.

At Seudah Shlishis, the Rebbe shlit"a honored the following with zemiros. Odeh: R' Noach Gefen. Shir HaMaalos: R' Moshe Goldstein.

The Rebbe shlit"a said Torah on the verse "You are standing today" and explained that Moshe Rabbeinu strengthened the Jewish children, that Hakadosh Baruch Hu waits for Jews to open an opening the size of the eye of a needle, but an opening there must be, and then Hakadosh Baruch Hu will open an opening as wide as the entrance of a hall, accept the teshuvah with favor and shower abundant good upon Beis Yisroel.

Yedid Nefesh: HaGaon HaTzaddik R' Meir Zwibel shlit"a. Kel Mistateir: R' Yosef Zev Moskowitz (Williamsburg). The Rebbe blessed the cup and recited Sheva Berachos.
