Friday, Parshas Pinchas — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Satmar Rebbe shlit"a entered the beis medrash for Shacharis at around 8:45. Baal tefillah: the bochur Shlomo Menashe son of Meir Dovid Heilbrun (Kiryas Joel).

After davening, the guests came over to greet the Rebbe, and the bochur Asher Zelig son of Chaim Yisroel Klagsbald (London) offered an answer to the Rebbe's question. Also, HaGaon Rabbi Mordechai Aharon Zabel shlit"a, menahel of Mesivta branch Eitz Chaim, shiur gimmel, whose yeshiva is spending this Shabbos "B'tzeil HaKodesh," conveyed greetings of peace from the Tash Rebbe shlit"a, following the yeshiva's visit this week in Kiryas Tash.

Afterwards, the Rebbe walked home to his holy residence. On the way, a conversation developed about the state of Yiddishkeit in the old country, in the small villages.
