Motzei Shabbos, Parshas Chukas-Balak — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

At around 12:15, HaGaon Rabbi Avrohom Shmuel Englander shlit"a, Dayan and Moreh Hora'ah of our kehilla in Lakewood, entered the Rebbe's room together with the leaders and prominent members of our Lakewood kehilla, who had spent Shabbos b'tzeil hakodesh. A pleasant conversation took place, at the end of which the Rebbe spoke words of guidance to the bochurim, and they then went over to receive the holy blessing.

Also entering the Rebbe's room was a group of bochurim from Shikun Skvira who had spent Shabbos b'tzeil hakodesh. The Rebbe asked them about their studies and bestowed his holy blessing.

At around 12:45, the Rebbe shlit"a went over to the Beis Medrash Tefilla L'Moshe in Kiryas Joel, where a lechayim celebration took place in honor of the engagement of the daughter of the distinguished philanthropist R' Avrohom Yuda Goldberger, benefactor and patron of the beis medrash and one of the leading supporters of the Rebbe's mosdos, who gave a large sum toward the mikvah tahara in Kiryas Joel. A pleasant conversation took place, and R' Eli Meir Goldberger shlit"a spoke. The Rebbe drank a lechayim and bestowed his holy blessings upon the chasan, the mechutanim, the grandfather R' Yisroel Goldberger, the rav of the beis medrash HaGaon Rabbi Shalom Rottenberg shlit"a, and the entire assembly. Afterward the Rebbe affixed a mezuzah on one of the doors and walked through all the rooms and floors of the beis medrash and the magnificent mikvah.

At around 1:30 the Rebbe arrived at our new beis medrash at 68 Dolek in the Dallas neighborhood of Kiryas Joel, where a lechayim celebration took place in honor of the opening of the beis medrash. Upon arrival the Rebbe affixed a mezuzah on the main entrance and looked around the beis medrash, where a mikvah is to be built, as all looked on.
A lechayim celebration then took place. One of the askanim, R' Dovid Eckstein of Eretz Yisroel, spoke, as did HaRav R' Yoel Halberstam shlit"a, rav of our Beis Medrash Beis Shmuel.
The Rebbe drank a lechayim and warmly wished the entire assembly well, with special thanks to the askanim of the beis medrash, and spoke words of Torah, saying that everything depends on the beginning and on what kind of foundation is laid. He urged them to stand guard so that it will be a beis medrash that produces Torah, avodah and gemilas chassadim in a strongly chassidic manner. He concluded with his holy blessing to all residents of the neighborhood and the mispallelim of the beis medrash. On his way out, the Rebbe looked over the large area where the new and magnificent building of the beis medrash will be built. The Rebbe left the beis medrash at around 2:10.

From there the Rebbe shlit"a went to the home of HaGaon Rabbi Nosson Dov Schwartz shlit"a, a moreh tzedek, to the Sheva Brachos celebration in honor of the marriage of his son, mazel tov. The Rebbe drank a lechayim, bestowed his holy blessings, and went out to dance with the chasan and mechutanim.
