How splendid was the sight as the leader of Klal Yisroel walked among the thousands of learners, in the manner of "Vayered Moshe min hahar el ha'am." The Rebbe shlit"a delivered holy words over a microphone. The Rebbe took as his theme the verse "Vayichan sham Yisroel neged hahar" and explained that from Matan Torah there is proof that the Jewish people have the status of children of Hashem, and therefore the angels have no claim of "Tnah hodcha al hashamayim." This power was already rooted in the holy Avos, and in their merit Hashem bestows upon Jewish children from His wide and full hand. He concluded with abundant blessings from the influences of the holy Yom Tov.

After the holy words the singing continued with joyous niggunim, and upon rising, the Rebbe wished everyone a good week and a healthy summer.

Maariv for Motzei Yom Tov: HaRav HaChassid R' Shlomo Klagsbrun. After Maariv the Rebbe made Havdalah and wished everyone in general a good week.

After a short time the Rebbe shlit"a came out in front of the main beis medrash for Kiddush Levana and the gathering of holy blessings, with song and music, drums and dancing, in circles, with tens of thousands of Jews, men, women and children. After Kiddush Levana joyous niggunim were sung and the multitudes of the kehilla danced in elevation of spirit. The Rebbe shlit"a delivered a holy blessing and repeated from the Chasam Sofer an explanation of the verse "V'atah im shamoa tishme'u b'koli": "V'atah" means even in these present times, when the trials of the era lead to everything being dismissed with the thought that "today's times are different," one must uphold all the good commitments that were taken upon oneself this Yom Tov in Torah and mitzvos, and conduct oneself gradually, keeping one's homes holy and proper, with proper, respectable dress. He wished abundant blessings. It ended at around 11:30.

In his holy residence, bochurim of the Montreal kehilla entered, and the Rebbe inquired about their studies and gave them blessings.

And the Yom Tov Rebbe departed in peace from the holy place

Chassidim and men of deeds continued for an extended time with joyous dancing in front of the main beis medrash, unable to part from the elevated Yom Tov, and we hope to Hashem that everyone will take along the good influences, materially and spiritually.

Fortunate is the eye that saw all this; fortunate is the people for whom this is so; fortunate is the people whose G-d is Hashem.
