Monday, Parshas Naso — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

This morning, before Shacharis, a bris was held for the newborn son of R' Moshe Falkowitz, where the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, Divrei Yoel branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the bar mitzvah bochur, the bochur Avrohom Yitzchak Tabak.
During the Torah reading, the Rebbe went up for Hagbah, and after davening he taught the daily Tehillim shiur on chapter 15, verse 2. Afterwards, a lechayim was held with a bar mitzvah bochur in the Rebbe's private room.

The gabbaim of the Kupas Chasanim also came in to receive the Rebbe's holy blessing ahead of the upcoming "Mitzvah Tantz" raffle campaign for the benefit of the fund, after Yom Tov Shavuos, may it come to us for good, and the Rebbe warmly bestowed his holy blessings upon the gabbaim.

In the afternoon, the Rebbe shlit"a went up to the Heichal HaYeshiva, Divrei Yoel branch, where the Rebbe learned with a chavrusa from among the talmidim of the yeshiva in his private room.

Late in the afternoon, a meeting was held in the Rebbe's holy home with the Rebbe shlit"a and HaGaon HaGadol, the Av Beis Din of Kiryas Joel, together with the members of the Eruv Committee under the auspices of the Beis Horaah in Kiryas Joel, regarding the completed eruv and the boundaries of the great city of Kiryas Joel, may it be established, in all its corners.
The Rebbe reviewed the newly completed eruv map, and they discussed the many details involved in the eruvei techumin and eruvei chatzeiros, as well as various questions that arise from time to time. The Rebbe warmly bestowed his holy blessings that no stumbling block should come from under our hands. They also discussed various questions regarding the laws of meat and milk, and regarding baking crackers, which were recently brought before the Beis Horaah, and the Rebbe together with the Av Beis Din shlit"a worked out together the approaches in both directions.
After the meeting, at 8:20, the Rebbe shlit"a davened Mincha in his holy home, and the Rebbe then set out for Monsey to grace the annual dinner "Eli Asor" and the celebration of the tenth anniversary of the founding of our holy institutions in Monsey, which today stand with over 2,000 children, without an evil eye, for glory and splendor. The dinner took place in a lavish setting in the halls of Valley Terrace.
Upon arrival, the Rebbe shlit"a davened Maariv in a side room. The Rebbe lit 5 candles and led the davening at the amud in honor of the hilula of his ancestor, the holy Rebbe of Volove zt"l.

At around 9:45, the Rebbe shlit"a entered the hall and greeted the rabbonim of our holy kehilla. The chairman, R' Nachman Levy, continued with his address and called out the generous people who participated with larger sums for the dinner. Afterwards, R' Yaakov Yitzchak Oberlander spoke and presented the financial state of our holy institutions, and highlighted the expansion of the borders of holiness, as they had just renovated the magnificent Beis Rochel building, "the Neustadt Building," and they hope to soon complete the gigantic Talmud Torah building, "the Goldstein Building," and at the same time they are already preparing to build two more grand buildings for Beis Rochel.
Afterwards, verses in honor of the occasion were sung by the children of our holy institutions, a stroll through the ten years of the institutions' existence, after which HaGaon HaTzaddik, the Av Beis Din of Monsey shlit"a, spoke with the address of the evening.

The Rebbe shlit"a delivered a holy address about the importance of those who support Torah, and spoke in praise of our holy kehilla and institutions in Monsey, saying that each time one comes to Monsey, one does not recognize the place, as it grows better and greater in quantity and quality. He then spoke about the learning seder of two hours before davening on the second day of Shavuos last year in our batei medrash around the world, and that it should be continued with even greater strength and vigor. The Rebbe praised the members of the community who follow the takanos that were instituted regarding unkosher devices, and spoke words of encouragement regarding the children's clothing, and concluded with abundant blessings. The event ended at around 11:00.

After the dinner, the Rebbe shlit"a went over for a return visit to his mechutan, HaGaon HaTzaddik Rabbi Moshe Rosner shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Tarczal, on the occasion of the simcha of the hachnasas sefer Torah that he brought into his beis medrash yesterday. A lengthy conversation took place about the customs of hachnasas sefer Torah and about the holy Keren L'Dovid zt"l, whose yahrzeit was yesterday. The Tarczal Rav shlit"a honored the Rebbe with a lechayim, and the Rebbe bestowed his blessing upon him.

At around 11:45, the Rebbe shlit"a left his home and set out for his holy home in Kiryas Joel.
