Tuesday, Parshas Bamidbar — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

This morning, before Shacharis, a bris was held for the newborn son of R' Naftali Palachek, at which the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, Etz Chaim branch, Shiur Gimmel, in the Radoshitz beis medrash. Before davening, the Rebbe laid tefillin for the bar mitzvah bochur, son of R' Yeshaya Sachs (of Williamsburg).
The Rebbe shlit"a lit 5 candles in honor of the yahrzeit of his uncle, HaGaon HaTzaddik R' Yekusiel Yehuda Teitelbaum zt"l Hy"d, Av Beis Din of Sighet. After davening, he recited the daily Tehillim portion with the verse on chapter 15, verse 3. Afterwards, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochur in the Rebbe's private room.

In the afternoon the Rebbe shlit"a went up to the Heichal HaYeshiva, Divrei Yoel branch, where the Rebbe learned with a chavrusa in his private room.

On the way to Williamsburg for the weekly entry times, the Rebbe paid a short visit to the Heichal of the Satmar Yeshiva Ketana 'Derech HaTorah' in Nyack, under the direction of HaRav R' Yoel Offenheim shlit"a. The Rebbe entered the beis medrash, where the bochurim were learning with diligence, and walked among the tables, engaging in Torah discussion with the bochurim with great satisfaction. The Rebbe then davened Mincha in the Heichal HaYeshiva, and before davening lit 5 candles. After davening a lechayim gathering was held. Several niggunim were sung, and the Rebbe drank lechayim and wished all the talmidim of the yeshiva, as well as the rebbeim and teachers, well. He also delivered brief words of holy preparation for Yom Tov Shavuos, and concluded with his holy blessing. The gathering ended at around 7:40.

From there the Rebbe shlit"a continued on the way to Williamsburg for the weekly entry times.
The entry times in the inner sanctum took place from around 9:15 until 12:40 at night, in the Rebbe's holy home on Hooper St.

During the entry times, the writing of letters took place for the Sefer Torah being written by R' Aharon son of R' Dovid Shlomo Eckstein, which will be placed in our beis medrash, Beis Menachem Tzvi in Williamsburg. The Rebbe wrote letters, drank lechayim, and bestowed his holy blessing.
Likewise, the writing of letters took place for the Sefer Torah being written by R' Moshe Yitzchak Freisler. The Rebbe wrote letters, drank lechayim, and bestowed his holy blessing.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 12:40 in his holy home.
