A unique and splendid event took place in Linden, New Jersey, exclusively for the local residents from among our people, with the participation of the leaders of our kehilla from Greater New York, for the benefit of building the new beis medrash of our holy kehilla. A fantastic sum of over two million dollars was raised, of which about half, one million dollars, came from the generous hearts of the avreichim of our kehilla, residents of Linden, who donated and purchased merits in the new building of the "mikdash me'at."

The other larger sums were donated by the distinguished communal figures R' Mordechai Weiss and sons, and R' Avrohom Brach, leaders of our holy kehilla.
