Tuesday, Parshas Vayakhel-Pekudei, 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis at the Yeshiva Ketana, Yismach Moshe branch, under the direction of HaGaon Rabbi Avrohom Hersh Zaldan shlit"a.
Before davening, the Rebbe put on tefillin for a bar mitzvah bochur. Afterwards, the Rebbe lit 5 candles in honor of the yahrzeit of the holy Rebbe, R' Elimelech of Lizhensk zy"a. Before Hodu, the prayer recited before davening composed by Rebbe R' Elimelech zy"a was said, while the Rebbe shlit"a lingered for a longer time in tears.

After davening, a lechayim gathering took place. The Rebbe drank a lechayim and spoke holy words about the greatness of the one whose hilula it is and the holiness he left over to every Jew until the end of all generations, and concluded with his holy blessing.

At 1:45 in the afternoon, the Rebbe shlit"a entered the Heichal HaMesivta, Divrei Yoel branch, where the Rebbe reviewed the second shiur on the sugya of "shelo k'derech hanaasan" in preparation for the Shabbos HaGadol derasha. It concluded at around 2:30.

In the afternoon at around 4:30, the Rebbe shlit"a arrived at the hall of the Shaarei Yosher, his holy home, on Ohel Street, and extended his pure table in honor of the yahrzeit of the holy Rebbe R' Elimelech zy"a together with the talmidim of the Yeshiva Ketana of Monsey, Kinyan Torah branch. The Rebbe washed for the seudah, and during the seudah, songs of inspiration were sung.
The Rebbe honored HaGaon Rabbi Naftali Tzvi Sofer shlit"a, a rebbe in the yeshiva, with the Michtam L'Dovid.

The Rebbe shlit"a spoke holy words on the verse "These are the words which Hashem commanded, to do them," and spoke about the teachings of the one whose hilula it is. He explained that Vayakhel has the gematria of "mikvah": when one goes into a mikvah, one must close the mouth and the eyes and must bend down. This comes to say that one must guard one's eyes, be careful about what one says, and have humility. One may not have a chatzitza on the body, and likewise one may not have a chatzitza on the neshama. He quoted the Ohr VeShemesh zy"a that Rebbe R' Elimelech zy"a instituted going to the mikvah; in the merit of the holy Rebbe R' Elimelech zy"a, one can scrape off the chatzitza from the neshama, and even merely mentioning his name makes one holy. That we are still able to hold on in this bitter exile is only thanks to his holiness. He concluded with his holy blessing.

Afterwards, the yeshiva director, HaGaon Rabbi Asher Anshil Griesgott shlit"a, presented the Rebbe shlit"a with a gift: a Sefer Tehillim with the names of the bochurim who learned for consecutive hours during the Yemei HaShovavim, may they be for good, and asked that the Rebbe keep them in mind. The Rebbe read the kvitel and warmly blessed them.
The Rebbe honored the director, HaGaon Rabbi Asher Anshil Griesgott shlit"a, with leading Birkas HaMazon. It concluded at around 6:00, and the Rebbe davened Mincha together with the bochurim. Before davening, the Rebbe lit 5 candles in honor of the holy hilula.

At nightfall, the Rebbe shlit"a traveled to Williamsburg for the weekly yechidus hours.
Beforehand, the Rebbe traveled to Boro Park and comforted the mourner, R' Hershel Spitz, on the passing of his elderly father a"h, and then traveled to Williamsburg.

Upon arriving in Williamsburg at around 8:40, the Rebbe shlit"a went over to the Le Chateau hall, where an inspirational gathering for the members of the morning kollel was taking place at our Beis Medrash Berach Moshe in Williamsburg. The rav of the beis medrash, HaGaon Rabbi Naftali Hirtzka Zwibel shlit"a, rosh av beis din of Williamsburg, spoke.
The Rebbe drank a lechayim and offered blessings to the entire public, and especially to the benefactor and patron of the kollel, R' Yosef Mordechai Kohn. He spoke holy words in praise of the beis medrash, where people stand at dawn and learn, and praised the esteemed benefactor, and concluded with his holy blessing.

The yechidus hours in the inner sanctum took place from around 9:15 until 1:40 after midnight, at his holy home on Hewes Street.

During the yechidus hours, his brother-in-law, the Vizhnitz Rebbe of Eretz Yisroel shlit"a, paid a visit to the Rebbe shlit"a to take leave and receive his holy blessings in honor of the wedding simcha of his granddaughter, taking place tomorrow night in Williamsburg. A beautiful conversation took place about the holy Rebbe R' Elimelech zy"a. The Rebbe honored him with a lechayim and bestowed his holy blessings.

At around 12:20, the Rebbe davened Maariv, and then continued receiving the public.
