Report
Tuesday, Parshas Tetzaveh 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

In the morning, before Shacharis, brissim took place.
For the newborn son of R' Yoel Eliyahu Glick (Monsey), at which the Rebbe served as sandek.
For the newborn son of R' Yoel ben R' Shimon Hershkowitz, at which the Rebbe served as sandek.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in Heichal HaMesivta, Divrei Yoel branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the following bar mitzvah bochurim:
The bochur Yoshe Mordechai Rosenbaum (of Williamsburg).
The bochur Lipa Schonbrun.

After davening, the Rebbe led the daily Tehillim shiur, and with tears recited words of lament and dirge over the burning of the sifrei Torah and the buildings of our holy kehilla in the holy city of Yerushalayim, may it be rebuilt. The Rebbe emphasized that Yerushalayim is the heart of the world; when there is pain in the heart, the whole body feels it, and every member of our kehilla must feel pained by the anguish of Yerushalayim. The Rebbe urged teshuva and the correction of deeds, saying that the holy Rebbe, the Divrei Yoel zy"a, upon such an occurrence, would urge strengthening the sanctity of the beis medrash, not speaking during davening and the Torah reading, taking upon oneself good resolutions regarding the sanctity of the beis medrash and Torah study, being careful with the sanctity of tefillin and mezuzos, and supporting Torah learners, especially the holy mosdos Yatev Lev in Eretz Yisroel, to increase the strength of Torah and glorify it even more, so that we may rebuild a beis medrash and a talmud torah, a beautiful and magnificent building for the honor of the Torah.
In this connection, the Rebbe obligated all of the chassidim from age 18 and up to give $18 as a "kofer nefesh" (atonement donation), in order to write a new Sefer Torah to atone for the insult to the Torah, and concluded with his holy blessing.

Afterwards, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in the Rebbe's private room.

After davening, a bris took place for the newborn son of R' Yissachar Ber Davidowitz, at which the Rebbe served as sandek and mohel. The bris was held in the new home of his father, HaGaon R' Chaim Eliezer Davidowitz shlit"a, together with the affixing of a mezuzah and a chanukas habayis. After the bris, the Rebbe affixed the mezuzah, drank a lechayim, and bestowed his holy blessings.

In the afternoon at around 4:30, the Rebbe arrived at the Pilmar Gardens hall for the sheva brachos in honor of HaGaon R' Yoel Gutman shlit"a, a moreh d'asra and chairman of the committee for sofrus matters under the auspices of the Beis Horaah of Kiryas Joel. It was organized by the Beis Horaah with the participation of all the sofrim of Kiryas Yoel. The baal simcha, HaGaon R' Yoel shlit"a, was honored to speak. The Rebbe drank a lechayim and bestowed his holy blessings, and delivered words of encouragement and chizuk to the sofrim, on the privilege of being engaged in the holy work of providing kosher sifrei Torah, tefillin and mezuzos. He also spoke about the problem of invalid mezuzos and the shortage of sofrim, and concluded with his holy blessing.

At around 6:20 the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home.

In the evening, the Rebbe shlit"a traveled into Williamsburg for the weekly reception hours.
The reception hours in the inner sanctum were from 8:45 until 12:30 after midnight, in his holy home on Hewes St.

The Rebbe davened Maariv at around 11:45, and then continued receiving the public.
