This past Motzei Shabbos the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a affixed a mezuzah in the new Slatina beis medrash, in the home of Rabbi Asher Yeshaya Horowitz, grandson of the Gaon of Slatina zt"l. The Rebbe held a lechayim, and a conversation was held about the Gaon, the Eitz Chaim zy"a, and his son-in-law, the Rav of Slatina. The Rebbe gave a holy bracha.

The Rebbe also affixed a mezuzah in the new headquarters of "Bikur Cholim," in the Blooming Grove area near Kiryas Joel. The premises will also serve as a rehabilitation home. The Rebbe looked around the premises and heard a report from the askanim, and gave a holy bracha.
