A substantive gathering took place today at midday, convened by the Rebbetzin, may she live long, in the holy home of the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a. Among the participants were the Commissioner and the Deputy Commissioner of the State Health Department and their aides, prominent doctors, leading askanim of our kehilla in Williamsburg and Kiryas Joel, heads of several major organizations, and heads of hatzalah organizations from across Greater New York. They discussed and worked out various forms of charitable assistance for Jewish patients in the hospitals of New York State, which the esteemed Governor Hochul, may she live long, promised to help advance during her visit to the Rebbe shlit"a in the days before the recent elections.
