"This is the day Hashem has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it."

As the heads of the people gathered together with the tribes of Yisroel, the day of salvation and liberation of the holy Rebbe, the Divrei Yoel zy"a, was celebrated and marked at the central, majestic and exalted event, the Seudas Hoda'ah on Leil HaHoda'ah, 21 Kislev, with tens of thousands of Jews, headed by dozens of rabbonim and dayanim shlit"a, and at their head the leader of the community, the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a, in the gigantic, enormous "Binyan HaHoda'ah" that was erected at Water Front Square in Williamsburg, combined with the "Aleh Na'aleh" dinner for the benefit of our holy mosdos in Williamsburg and their thousands of children, bli ayin hara.

The enormous Binyan HaHoda'ah was masterfully set up to accommodate the many thousands of anash from across Greater New York and the surrounding areas.

On the occasion of the exalted event, a very rich 128-page booklet, "Ashreinu," was published, with historical articles and pictures and details of the expansion of the holy borders within our holy mosdos in Williamsburg.

Likewise, all the benefactors were given the ninth volume of the magnificent, rich sefer "Mishulchan Melachim," holy talks of the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a from the year 5776.

Throughout the event, the wonderful singer Rabbi Zanvil Weinberger of Eretz Yisroel entertained with songs and melodies, accompanied by the renowned Chevra Shira choir and led by the renowned conductor R' Yoshe Koller.

The chairman of the event was HaGaon Rabbi Dovid Shlomo Laub shlit"a, maggid shiur in our holy community in Monsey and rebbi in the mesivta.
The outstanding expert Rabbi Elchanan Zev Yosef Friedman spoke, recounting the details of the miracle of the salvation.
Afterwards the distinguished R' Mordechai Elazar Hirsch read out the names of the esteemed benefactors who contributed larger sums for the benefit of the mosdos, and thanked the askanim who devote themselves to the mosdos in general and now to the Hoda'ah event.

At around 9:00 the Av Beis Din of Nitra, Williamsburg, HaGaon HaTzaddik shlit"a, spoke on behalf of the mosdos. He brought out the obligation of gratitude that every Satmar chassid must give on this day, and spoke in praise of our holy community and mosdos in Williamsburg.

At around 9:30, tens of thousands of anash merited to receive the Rebbe shlit"a. The Rebbe entered the gathering of thousands, who broke out in fiery dancing, thanking Hashem for the miracles He performed in those days and in our time. The Rebbe greeted the dozens of rabbonim and then danced with fiery holy dancing, in great emotion, for several long minutes.

Afterwards the Rebbe shlit"a washed for the pure table in honor of the day, and after the fish gave a lechayim and his holy blessing to the tens of thousands of Jews.
Then the distinguished R' Mordechai Elazar Hirsch spoke on behalf of the mosdos administration. He highlighted the full efforts of the generous-hearted benefactors and wealthy members of our holy community, through whom alone the mosdos can continue, and spoke about the expansion of the holy borders in our holy mosdos in Williamsburg, particularly the new magnificent wedding hall "Ateres Esther," which will be completed this year, b'ezras Hashem, through the generous donation of the esteemed Mrs. Rispler tichye and her son, the distinguished benefactor R' Fishel.
Afterwards R' Mordechai Elazar gave the honor of the floor to Mayor Eric Adams, who then spoke, conveying his thanks for the support in the mayoral elections on his behalf, and thanked the head of the askanim, R' Naftali Moshe Indig, and promised to stand by the effort for the future of pure chinuch within the educational institutions in New York.
Several politicians also came during the event, among them the Lieutenant Governor of New York, on behalf of the Governor.

Afterwards the chairman called upon the keynote speaker, HaGaon HaTzaddik R' Chaim Shlomo Miller shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Nitra, Williamsburg.

At around 10:55 the gathering merited to hear the fiery holy address, the word of Hashem and the guidance for the year, from the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a. The Rebbe shared divrei Torah from the teachings of the holy Rebbe, the Baal HaNes zy"a, and then spoke at length with divrei hadracha for the days of Chanukah. He mentioned the chinuch decree in New York and again made clear that the chareidi Jewry will not agree to any compromises, but will continue in the path of Torah and tradition handed down to us from generation to generation without any change. Regarding the bitter situation in Eretz Yisroel, as the chareidi parties prepare to enter and build up the impure state, which, aside from the very establishment of the state and rebellion against the kingdom of Heaven, all share a part in all the aveiros and the uprooting of religion that unfortunately is carried out in the state of Gehinnom, he spoke at length. He noted that one of the newspapers wrote about the current draft law, that it is being prepared that this too will be with the agreement of Satmar, and he cried out that it is a duty to come forward and declare that this is a lie and falsehood, and that Satmar chassidim have no connection with the state.

The Rebbe then spoke again at length about the scandal of the invalid mezuzos, and explained at length, with good sense and reason, the entire problem. He urged anash not to buy from dealers but to have the mezuzos written. He also aroused and greatly strengthened the audience regarding setting times for Torah study, and concluded with words of praise for our holy mosdos in Williamsburg and the obligation of each person, without exception, to support the holy mosdos with a generous spirit. He concluded with his holy blessing to the entire gathering.

After the address the Rebbe made a blessing on the cup for all the chasanim, and then recited the Sheva Brachos.

The event ended at around 11:55. On the way out, the Rebbe thanked the askanim who helped make the event a success, and from there the Rebbe shlit"a traveled home to his holy residence in Kiryas Joel.

"The kindnesses of Hashem have not ended, for His mercies have not ceased."
