Sunday, Parshas Vayishlach — 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, Kedushas Yoel branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put tefillin on the following bar mitzvah bochurim:
The bochur Naftali Stern.
The bochur Wolf Jacobowitz (Vemasbag).
The bochur Levi Aharon Oestreicher.

After davening, the Rebbe recited the daily Tehillim shiur, on chapter 15, verse 1. Afterwards, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in his private room.

At about 12:30 in the afternoon, the Rebbe shlit"a traveled privately with a small minyan up to the kevarim of our holy Rebbes, in honor of the simcha of the wedding of his grandson, which took place yesterday, Monday, in the Beis Medrash HaGadol in Kiryas Joel. Upon arriving at the beis hachaim, the Rebbe recited the berachah and then entered the holy ohel, where he lit 5 candles at the holy graves and at the kever of his mother, the Rebbetzin a"h. The Rebbe recited the prayer of the Yismach Moshe zy"a and the first four chapters, and then the fourth book of Tehillim as is customary. After Kaddish, the Rebbe read kvitlach, and then prostrated himself at the graves of our holy Rebbes and of his mother, the Rebbetzin a"h. They concluded at about 1:15.

In the afternoon at about 5:00, the Rebbe shlit"a arrived in Monsey at Heichal Yeshiva Gedolah Esek HaTorah, under the direction of HaGaon Rabbi Yisroel Mordechai Seidenfeld shlit"a, which is housed in the Beis Medrash Tefillah L'Moshe Kalashin. Upon arriving, the Rebbe looked around at the learning in the beis medrash, and after a few minutes the Rebbe davened Mincha together with the yeshiva students.
After Mincha, a lechayim gathering took place, several niggunim were sung, and the menahel shlit"a presented to the Rebbe the full answers of the bochurim to the question that the Rebbe had left for the bochurim at the lechayim for the opening of the zman in the yeshiva. The Rebbe studied them for a longer time with great nachas. The Rebbe drank lechayim and blessed the rabbeim and all the bochurim, and then delivered a Torah discourse with pilpul on the sugya being learned in the yeshiva in Maseches Pesachim, left several lomdish questions for the bochurim and asked them to seek answers, spoke of his nachas from the good reports he constantly hears about the yeshiva, and concluded with his holy blessings. They concluded at about 6:00.

At about 6:10, the Rebbe shlit"a arrived at our Beis Medrash HaGadol in Monsey for the celebration of the hachnasas sefer Torah, written by the members of the Monsey community in honor of HaGaon HaTzaddik, the Av Beis Din of Monsey shlit"a, l'iluy nishmas his father R' Moshe Yehuda zt"l and l'iluy nishmas his grandfather, the posek hador, the Sheivet HaLevi zt"l. The Rebbe took the Sefer Torah from the Rav shlit"a and danced with it with holy dancing, and then honored the Rav to dance. The honor of placing the Sefer Torah in the Aron Kodesh was given to the distinguished philanthropist R' Moshe Goldstein. Afterwards, the Rebbe recited L'Dovid Mizmor as is customary. They concluded at about 6:30, and the Rebbe traveled home to Kiryas Joel.

In the evening, the Rebbe shlit"a officiated at the kiddushin at the chuppah of the following mechutanim:
R' Binyamin Goldberger (Boro Park) – R' Chaim Shlomo Silberman (Montreal), at Kinor David hall.
R' Chaim Pollack – R' Moshe Hersh Klein, at Beis Rachel Paradise hall.

Entry times to the Rebbe's holy room were from about 8:15 until 11:45 at night, at his holy home on Ohel Street.

The Rebbe shlit"a read the tenaim at the tenaim of the mechutanim in his holy home, R' Asher Anshel Zin (Boro Park) – R' Avrohom Mordechai Glick.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Maariv at about 11:45 at his holy home.
