Thursday, Parshas Toldos, Rosh Chodesh Kislev (first day): 'B'tzeil HaKodesh' with the Satmar Rebbe shlit"a

In the morning, before Shacharis, the bris of the newborn son of R' Moshe Chaim Gefen took place, where the Rebbe served as sandek.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Shacharis in the Heichal HaMesivta, Beirach Moshe branch. Before davening, the Rebbe put on tefillin for the following bar mitzvah bochurim:
The bochur Chaim Yechezkel Shraga Rosenberg.
The bochur Dovid Weiss.
The bochur Aryeh Asher Yehoshua Weberman.
The Rebbe shlit"a went to the amud for the recitation of Hallel with great fervor, and hagbah was done during the Torah reading.
After davening, a lechayim was held with the bar mitzvah bochurim in his private room.

In the afternoon at around 5:10, the Rebbe davened Mincha in his holy home.

In the evening, the Rebbe shlit"a officiated at kiddushin under the chuppah of the following mechutanim:
R' Yekusiel Yechezkel Shraga Weinberger (of Williamsburg) – R' Yisroel Yaakov Oppenheim, at Kinor Dovid hall.
R' Yoel Shlomo Farkash (of Williamsburg) – R' Zev Scherzer, at Keren V'Yoel Moshe hall.

The times for entering to see the Rebbe were from around 8:00 until 11:30 at night, in his holy home on Ohel Court.

During the entry times, the Rav of the Williamsburg kehilla, HaGaon Rabbi shlit"a, Av Beis Din, entered. The Rav shlit"a came to deliver greetings from the "Or Chadash D'Rabbeinu Yoel" kehilla in Guatemala, where the Rav shlit"a, together with the dayanim of our holy kehilla, had traveled especially for the ceremony of pouring the foundations for the mikvah tahara, and to strengthen our brethren the geirei tzedek.

Also visiting was HaGaon HaMashpia R' Nissan Dovid Kivak shlit"a of Eretz Yisroel. A fine conversation developed and the Rebbe bestowed upon him from his holy blessings.

The Rebbe shlit"a davened Maariv at around 11:30 in his holy home.
